View Full Version : The Klingons did it. A satire of 9/11 'truthers'

I am now strongly considering making a documentary about 9/11 satirising the 9/11 truth movement.

It will propose that Cloaked Klingon Battleships with holographic projectors carried out 9/11.

There will be an interview with 'expert' Duane Uriah Griffin Phd (Professor of Sport Sciences, Redneck University Alabama), about his book "P'takh on America How the Klingons were behind 9/11". There will be quotes of Captain Spock from star trek six the undiscovered country.

There may also be interviews with actors dressed as Klingons arguing against the involvement of their government..

There will be deliberately bad editing of footage to show wibbly distortions near the buildings affected by the attacks and badly drawn 'disruptor blasts'.

If anyone has any other satirical ideas for Klingon involvement in 9/11 I'd love to hear it.

I like the book title: "P'takh on America: How the Klingons Destroyed the U.S. and You Paid For It."

I like that film :)

Interestingly enough the whole concept of cloaked ships may actually one day be feasible.

I like that. :)

I've heard some conspiracists say how the USA bombed the levees in New Orleans. But with the power of satire I can now put forward an alternative to the official conspiracy movement and lampoon their paranoia. It was the Romulans!!

Today is a good day to die!

Parodying these guys is hard. It is hard to get anything more bizarre than what they already have.

Don't try to put forward any specific conspiracy scenario - that is against the truther credo. That being said, I think it will be hard to fit the Klingons into a satire about 9/11 itself that has the same feeling as Loose Change.

There was a post (http://72.32.2.238/forumlive/showthread.php?t=80121) a couple of days ago - "Loose Credits" - that got the tone pretty much right. In that piece, the narrator just points out imagined inconsistencies in the destruction of the Death Star, and asks lots of inane questions.
