Yay, Nova's back!! *cuddles Nova*

How IS the new kitty anyway Horatius?

He's doing pretty well. Had him into the vet's yesterday for some more shots, as he's going to be in the kennel for a few days while I'm at TAM 5.5 this week, and they want his to have the full run of vaccinations. It's a nice kennel though, an open concept one with lots of climbing structures and hidey-holes, so he should have fun.

He and Alberta are getting along quite well. He loves following her around and doing everything she does, and she tolerates that most of the time.

Last night, after his shot, he spent most of the evening sleeping in my arms, as I watched TV. Now he's looking out the window at the snow.

So it's all good!

HA!
One minor point:
NWO Kitty doesn usually keeps his pistol holstered when talking to other folks. He is nothing if not safety concious (probably a card-carrying member of the NRA, too!)
If he has it pointed, someone's gonna catch some DU
Shoot first, ask questions later is entirely too liberal for NWO Kitty...

I'm not sure I see the problem. In frames 1-3, NWO Kitty is passing on some highly secret information to a menial (and presumably replaceable) underling. I think we can all figure out what happens in frame 4.

Nah, He wouldn't sit around talking if he planned to shoot him. Did you see Prison Break this week? Classic bit. Senior Henchman gets a gun, and decides to replace the Big Boss. SH spends most of the episode waving the gun around, and trying to give orders. As soon as BB gets ahold of the gun, though, he just shoots people. It's not having a gun that make you dangerous, it's being willing to use it.

Well, you have to remember that 8 is 1 less than 9, 0 is 1 less than 1, so with those two ones, 80% becomes 9-11%, which is pretty much self explanatory.

The CTists are NWO is obsessed with numerology, remember.

Sabrina: No, that didn't happen at TAM as such. Some folks (JREF Forum members, mostly) read off some of the threats and attacks Gravy has recieved while 'interrupting' his talk. At the end, one of the catcaller actors was hauled off bodily yelling 'don't tase me bro!'. It was all in good fun, and Gravy got to point out that these threats were not from kiddies on message boards, but were from the leaders of the twoof movement.

Even leaving the details and meaning of the insignia aside entirely, I think the strip is very funny and very well done. I laughed out loud.

There's the casual introduction of the ubiquitous after-hours softball team (chuckle), the introduction of a new story line, the introduction of a new character, and the visual of NWO Kitty wearing a baseball hat of all things!!! (The uber cool cat fighting paranoid stupidity with hot lead and a cool hat is wearing a baseball hat?? The look is hilarious in the circumstances.) And, of course, the substitution of his gun for a baseball is guffaw-inspiring in its own right.

Nice job, In My Spare Time.

Just spotted this one - and you know, I think you're on to something. Scientology started out differently, but became textbook conspiracy used to generate power and wealth - in its case the conspiracy was one of psychiatrists, aliens, and yes, "corrupt" (i.e. they don't do what we want them to do) government.

Witness wearechange. If the truthiness movement survives in any kind of cohesive form, I think it will be along self-sustaining pseudo-cult lines, like David Icke and his followers.

This is a surprise? I mean, come on; we ARE talking about the NWO here; us that are kings (and queens) of ultimate capability and ultimate failure at the same time, since we make up elaborate plots to carry out dastardly deeds and yet can't keep a secret to save our lives.

Not forgotten, just too lazy. And I don't have the software to create pdfs, so too cheap has an effect as well. ;)

I was looking into some sort of self publishing/print on demand books, but they look way too expensive. I can't image very many people would pay that much to have a physical copy. Heck, I'm not sure I'd pay that much, even for a copy for my mother!

If anyone else out there knows a bit about publishing (and in particular, publishing comics) and can suggest a better option, I'm all ears.*

While I agree the interface is horrible, and slow, it seems that it also raises the bar for those willing to actually put the time in. Sometimes I can't believe how much effort, and how much art is created with those simple forms. A small example.

If you sign up for a blog, they give you more tools to work with. There's also a level above that, for popular posters, that has blue and green colours. Sometimes on days like Christmas, they give us regular types access to those tools.

At my level, I have some red shapes, and there's a button to invert the white and black things to black and white. By careful overlaying, you can create things like the bandages, which was just two rectangles on top of each other, with the top one a bit smaller, and inverted to be white.

We can only hope, that in future Horatius strips, NWO Kitty will have a really big gun.

OK I'm about done with this. I find the 911 conspiracy stuff extremely boring. But I like the kitty.

Edit: Ok...so she's not in this movie...but it's still suspicious.

Nova Kitty is on it. (Cue Horatius here :) )

Reminds me, I made an account there and fooled around with it for a while. I was gonna do a series but lost interest. Horatio might remember a sample, I think I sent him a PM a couple of weeks ago about it.

Anyway, since I will most likely not continue with it, I'll just post it here now.
It was supposed to be about a pig taking on a job for the truth to fight NWO kitty - or something. But the pig got pissed off when something happened to its hat.. :D
ETA: Actually what I had in mind was to have a contester for kitty to become the new NWO kitty on Molche's side. :D

Thanks. I'm a bit drunk now, as I've just come from a bit of a wake for Nova. I brought a picture of him, and the above comic with me to my local pub, and everyone who saw it expressed their sympathies.

Yes, I know I'm walking a fine line. But in my defense, can you read that quote and not just go "what what what???!!!"?

And I don't mean to be threatening to him at all. If you read some of his posts, you'll realize that a lot of us are holding back far worse than a webcomic.

But I will cease with the "NWO Kitty attacks" line of comics.
