View Full Version : John Lennon was a 9-11 Truther?

I know this sounds a little off...but bear with me. What if the reason why John Lennon was killed was not because he was the target of a crazy assassin/Beatles fan..but because John Lennon knew that WTC 7 was brought down by a controlled demolition?
I know..the skeptics and naysayers will say "how could he have known about WTC 7 if it wasn't even built until after he died?" and "John Lennon never wrote anything or said anything about the WTC". But lets leave these irrelevant "facts" aside for a moment.
Remember what Steve Colbert says: "listen to your gut....not your brain".
What we do know is that John Lennon WAS killed in New York City. He was very counter-culture. He was hated by the CIA, the FBI, the Federal Reserve, and the CFR. Was he a 9-11 Truther? I believe it is indeed possible.
:D
FYI- this is a joke.

because I was one of the people outside the Dakota as it happened. What is the reason for this post?
ETA - not that it matters much but you wonder why LCF paints Jref with a broad brush and you post this nonsense?

I think parky has threads of tangental thought, things that strike him, so he decides to post them for feedback...

I thought it was funny. It was kind of my lampooning of an insane 9-11 conspiracy theorist's ideas. Who in their right mind would take such a post seriously? Only someone who lives in the irrational, insane, and silly world of conspiracy theories. But next time I'll try to make it more obvious that its simply a joke.

Yes but this is the sort of stuff the mods made new rules for. Let's just keep needlessly antagonizing lCF. If we are lucky, perhaps we can incite another type of jackchit incident.

One time someone told me that John Lennon believed that Mumia Abu Jamal was innocent of killing Daniel Faulkner. When I pointed out that Lennon died a year before Mumia killed Faulkner, he got mad and said "well he would be if he were still alive"

I went to a "March for Mumia" in Philadephia when I was in college. I can totally see many of my fellow marchers believing in something as impossible as Lennon being a Mumia supporter.

I always wonder why there has not been a large conspiracy theory around John Lennon's death.
Is it simply because Mark Chapman so fitted the indentity of someone who would do this? He was geeky and nerdy and could be beaten down by Lennon fans.

Silly, yes, but what does the OP have to do with the Loose Change forum? :confused:Look at the post underneath yours. I am not saying it had anything directly to do with LCF (although they have had a "past truther list" but I said it was needlessly antagonizing. If anybody I would expect you understand that another jackchit type incident is not what we need nor want.

There are several active threads here devoted to the absurdity of truther thought. I think you have overreacted here.

It's a well-known fact that Stephen King killed John Lennon as part of a nefarious plot to do....something. See http://www.lennonmurdertruth.com for the sordid details.
This guy lives in the Bay Area and likes to sneak on to talk radio programs to explain his theory. He usually gets caught before he can speak, but lately he's been getting a little more successful.

No problem. I was beginning to wonder why you were trying to argue over the time.
