That's too bad. There are many good videos on Benny's tactics on youtube. Can you claim fair use?
Maybe Claus is willing to host the videos on his website?

That man is the lowest of the low.
Chris Rock once criticised doctors, hospitals and and the entire health care industry for ever taking money for their services. He said "Charging people for their health is low". Well at least it works, whatever you think about it.
Charging people for their health and doing nothing and harming them by doing nothing and living in a multi-million dollar mansion off of it, that's low.

This is worth looking into:
The video by The Fifth Estate (http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/main_miracles.html#bio) (owned by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) was very critical of Hinn.
This video was at http://youtube.com/watch?v=W4t9APdSG30 but it was removed and replaced with this notice:
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries.
To get the videos removed Benny Hinn Ministries had to sign under penalty of perjury (http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=58127&query=copyright&topic=&type=) to get the videos removed.
So unless Benny Hinn Ministries bought out the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation someone working for Hinn perjured themself to get video about Hinn's finances removed.
Claus, PM'ed.

I note that the Geller videos re-posted by TheFriendlySkeptic have been up for a few weeks now on YouTube: either Uri and Shipi have stopped complaining, or YouTube isn't listening to them anymore.
Try re-posting the video with suitable explanations, citing the Fair Use Doctrine and pointing out who actually owns the copyright.

So, how does Chris Rock expect such people to eat?

Well if it wrong to charge for healthcare... doesn't it follow that it is wrong to charge for food as well? :D

Richard Roberts, Oral Roberts' son, has claimed in recent revivals that he has seen "the Lord heal" people by making amputated limbs grow back.
He ought to try to get the million dollar prize now!

The story behind the show and the full video are available at the CBC site:
http://www.cbc.ca/fifth/main_miracles.html
I would assume from this that the CBC owns the copyright and that Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries are umm. err, ah, . . . not telling the truth.

That Fifth Estate episode from the CBC was excellent, Q.
It's clear to me that Hinn figured out at an early age that people could be easily conned, and has been capitalizing on that knowledge ever since. And how!
The man has enormous wealth and power, wealth and power that is willingly ceded to him by marks the world over. Not that he's alone in that deeply offensive profession -- it's a game as old as humanity. Next to him and his ilk, a common street prostitute looks saintly.
We do what we can to disabuse people of their delusions, but what hope do we have against the promise of miraculous healings?
Religion is perhaps the greatest con of all time, IMO.

Looks like the whole Trinity Broadcasting Network (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_Broadcasting_Network) gang of scoundrels purged youtube as well. The exposé on Paul Crouch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Crouch)'s gay relationship was pulled offline (another false claim of ownership).
Crouch runs the TBN, which gives Hinn airtime.
View the exposé on Crouch's hush money and gay relationship: http://www.wittenburgdoor.com/archives/FoxNews041129.html (this is the 12:00 minute version)

If you do try to reupload the video on YouTube, I suggest you get permission from CBC, and also explain the situation to CBC on why you want their permission to reuse the video on youtube.
The video DOES have copyright policies applied to it. It's just that Benny Hinn doesn't own them.
I suggest if anyone uploads the video, get permissions from CBC, get proof that CBC gave you such permissions, and reupload the video on YouTube stating as such. If YouTube takes it down once more, show them the information. If they take 22 days and give you an autoresponse to get back to you, then I suggest going to the higher ups.
Don't let wealthy jerks like Benny Hinn censor free speech and try to censor things that aren't actually his.

Thanks for the heads up CF, Now I have a copy stashed away... Very sad watching this clip. Especially the woman trusting in Benny to help her little girl. Does anyone think that makes her a bad parent?

Of course, when a prostitute f%^ks someone they know that they have been f%^ked, and that was likely their intention. So much more honnest.

I helped pack off someone who couldn't possibly be saved to a Benny Hinn event. I wish to go through life without ever hitting another person -- since I can't hit Benny Hinn I desire strongly to soil his white suit.
In fact -- I will state right here right now -- I will somehow soil his white suit. He has it coming. I will do it. :D
Someday, when you see his jacket soiled, consider donating to my bail fund.

He doesn't, he just gestures towards them and they fall willingly. Sorta like those woo martial artists.

I found the CBC video simply unwatchable - because of my own anger about sincere people being taken in by a conman. I begin to understand why investigating "The Faith Healers" was such a pathologically draining experience for Randi.

I felt the same way reading the StopSylvia site once and having to talk about what it was like to see her in person.
At first, it's fun to slam these con artists but then it's just draining.
