There was recently (within the last six month I think) either in Swift or in one of the skeptic report, a commentary on a study which asked many (100's?) people to pray for peace, and announced a victory by a drop of 72% of murder or violence act, but when looking at it a bit more carefully in reality they skewed the number and there was more violence act.

Does anybody remmember where this was mentionned ? I tried the search thingy on the forum but "Peace prject" does not help...

The claim that trancendental meditation reduced crime in Washington, DC, in 1993 is mentioned in this thread, http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=45044, where RichardR gave a link to Robert Park's article from the September 2000 Skeptical Inquirer, http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m2843/is_5_24/ai_67691836.
