View Full Version : Most Insulting 9-11 Denier Conspiracy Theory Yet?

There can't be a whole lot of CTs more obnoxious and insensitive (http://www.impactglassresearchinternational.com/Political.html) than that proposed by David L. Griscom, a retired research physicist:

An underlying postulate, or working hypothesis, of my earlier Pentagon model was that the passengers on AA-77 volunteered to feign their deaths in return for cushy “witness protection” programs. This concept is not original to me. It was explored by the CIA in the early 60s as a component of a scheme to fake the shoot-down of an American airliner over international waters as a justification for invading Castro’s Cuba. “The plan [Project Northwoods] was to replace said aircraft with an identical drone, flown by remote control, and land the original plane at an [Air Force] base where passengers, boarded under prepared aliases, would be evacuated. The drone would then fly the route and when over Cuba, emit a distress signal before being destroyed by radio signal.”

I envision a similar 9/11 scheme, but one where the passengers boarded under their true names. Indeed, the seat occupancies on all four aircraft allegedly hijacked on 9/11 were very much lower that industry average (averaging 26% of capacity vis-à-vis 71% for all domestic flights in July 2001). So, here I extend my “all passengers survived” postulate to all four 9/11 “hijacked” flights on the notion that this small number of passengers might have been considered by conspirators as the minimum number for public credulity, while at the same time not exceeding the maximum number of “true believers in the cause” willing to accept long separations from their loved ones (sweetened by handsome Swiss bank accounts).

Yep, this guy actually has the stones to claim that all the passengers survived and are living a luxurious lifestyle (perhaps smuggling Italian Lira on the Polish-Austrian border?).

How exactly do you volunteer for something like that... I mean... it's not like you can just run an ad in the paper...

If this is the only way they can get their alternative theories to work it is truly appalling.

Willing? For goodness sake. Try unwilling participants in something so dreadful it hardly bares thinking about. I could easy go off at the deep end here and start hurling insults, but it is pointless.

This piece of garbage is testament to the utter desperation and deprivation of the so-called truth movement. A movement so devoid of any form of humanity it would scoop to as yet undiscovered depths of insensitivity.

Truly shameful.

David L Griscom is obviously a disinfo agent and any 'truther' who even thinks about believing this theory is also a disinfo agent.

In fact even reading this theory makes one automatically a disinfo agent and one should cease all and any contact with the 'truth' movement immediately.

P'doh offers his opinion at the SLC blog:
Calling it disgusting doesn't refute it.

Its unlikely but there is something fishy about the passengers. The Bernard Brown case is very strange.

Refute what exactly? A theory based on speculation with not one shred of evidence offered to support it?. Lol, pdoh is getting worse at this game as time goes on.

I dunno, the one where the CT'er insisted that Captain Burlingame was in on it was pretty crass.

Loose Change strongly implied that.

The worst one was about Bernard Brown, who, according to Truthers, casually avoided going to his office at the Pentagon so as not to be in danger, but let his son die on AA77. So he helped plan the attack, put his little son on AA77, and coldly played golf while it happened. And I see that P'doh has chimed in on this story too.

In terms of creating fiction, they are quite ingenious. Perhaps they should take it up professionally, as novelists.

The problem is any sort of fictional story telling requires suspension of disbelief. A fundamental element of suspension of disbelief is an internally cohesive and self-supporting "world". 9/11 CTers have repeatedly indicated they are totally incapable this.

The Polish/Austrian border and Italian Lira is a reference to Tom Flocco's claim (http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=3617) in 2005 that Barbara Olsen had been picked up there, smuggling Italian Lira.

I personally don't like the idea that the desperate air phone calls were faked. How can anyone hear what was said and make light of it? I hope their relatives never have to go through such an ordeal..and then have "truthers" claim it was all made up.

(averaging 26% of capacity vis-à-vis 71% for all domestic flights in July 2001).

It has probably been noted before but comparing occupancy rates mid-week, in mid-sept, to a July average is quite a stretch. One wonders what comparing the rates during spring break would be versus the first week in May would show?
Perhaps one should check a mid-week, mid Sept, occupancy rate from the year 2000 to the same in 2001, Better yet that same time period averaged over the preceeding 5 years.

ETA, I forgot to add my vote for most disgusting CT claim. That would be Lyte Trip's assurtion that Lloyd England is a plant who is responsible for lamp post #1 being downed. Lyte manages to look past his own witness's differing accounts in light of what they saw and experienced was a very quick event and would have produced state of excitement(adrenaline) in them BUT a man who had a lamp post very nearly take his head off is supposed to recall every moment in exacting detail. Lyte marvels that England did not see the impact and that he was removing the lamp post from his car when the Pentagon collapsed claiming that it makes no sense. Lyte expects that England would, instead of fighting his car for control with a lamp standard laying on his windsheild, be watching the progress of the aircraft, and that rather than removing the pole from his car that he should be watching the fire at the Pentagon. Amazed, is Lyte, that Lloyd did not bother to watch the collapse, which means that Lyte somehow expects that Lloyd would know that that event would occur at all.

Lyte also gets my vote for most sophitic(if that is a word)senario. He has Robert T. , one of the Citgo witnesses, saying that the plane rose to clear the road sign and uses this ONE, single, solitary instance of a witness saying the plane rose at anytime during the last few seconds of flight, as the basis for his fly over senario. This flies in the face also, of the many witnesses that describe the plane hitting the ground floor of the building. Difficult to get such a thing confused wioth a plane headed for the roofline of the building. He then manipulates Robert's statement that he did not see the impact because the plane was "still" obscured and that all he saw of the impact was the fireball, to mean that the view of the plane was obscured by the fireball. This means that Robert would have to find it not unusual that the fireball occured significantly before impact.

IIRC all of the 9/11 flights were below typical passenger loads from a mid week flight, however the Air Travel industry was in a bad way and ticket sales were generally declining. The FBI actually investigated the ticket sales on the flights to see if the hijackers had purchased additional tickets to minimise passengers, but they had not.

I dunno. Ingenious?

Writing fiction is tough, difficult to pull off. To write fiction, you must be grounded in reality (as a referent).

These bozos are grounded - their brains are grounded, or more accurately, minced. Minced turkey, at $2.99 per pound with coupon.

I agree that there are not a whole lot more CTs more obnoxious than that one.

That said, the one in which Dylan Avery accuses Bernard Brown Sr. of knowingly "sending his son off to die" while he takes an "uncharacteristic" day off to "play golf" is not only obnoxious but disgusting. And it was compounded by Avery, Bermas, and Rowe recording their subsequent BS about it when they claimed that they had thought about calling Mr. Brown Sr. to question him about the events of the day in order "to see if he might let something slip". Accompanied, of course, by their usual childlike laughter at the horrific events of the day.

It certainly doesn't get much more disgusting and repugnant than that.

If you are talking about the people here talking about the gas truck accident, you have not read enough about who posted it. If you actually found someone on the internet that has a thermite story for Oakland, where is it?

As for steel melting, I do not think the steel melted. The guy from Cal trans said it the steel was all deformed and look like as if it had melted. But that is how steel looks in fire.

But the CT about Oakland started here are satire. Since no one was killed, it is not as insulting as the lies from 9/11 truth.
