Once LC:FC hits, that's what we're gonna get (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=8539&st=0&). Revolution baby. ... Revolution.

Personally, I feel a festivus of this magnitude deserves something special, so I suggest we have a big 'ole NWO picnic. Everyone put in what you'll bring so as not to stock up on any one particular menu item. I make a mean potato salad, so scratch that off your lists.

LUCUS over at LCF will be bringing along his million little ants to spoil our gathering, so I might also suggest that everyone pack their own magnifying glass and I'll talk to Cheney to see if we can't put in an order for sunny day.

Total Kaos at first followed by a massive revolt followed by 1000 years of peace

Who else in history does this narrative reflect?

1) Roman Empire
2) Self-declared intentions of Nazi Germany

No thanks. (Actually, I like Romans, but I wouldn't want to be one of their conquered provinces)

The fact that he's calling for anarchy doesn't bother me half as much as his belief that LC:FC will be the harbinger of said chaos.

But let's stay on topic and get this picnic planned, shall we? Who's bringing the beer?

the beast is loose on earth, an angel drags satan to the pit and binds him for 1000 years during which the world lives in peace, satan is freed, a battle ensues , satan is finally defeated for all time, Christ rules Earth.

That is a hilarious thread.

Something they might want to watch out for, though -- in the United States, engineers (the people they despise as being "in on it"), being naturally fascinated by high-performance and precision machinery, not to mention general tendencies towards pyrophilia (just watch Mythbusters if you don't believe me), tend to be heavily armed.

Tempest in a teapot, that's what this is.

Twoofism's similarities to a cult get more apt every day.

"When one person suffers from a delusion, it is call insanity. When many people suffer from a deluson, it is call a religion." - Robert M. Pirsig

* Orphia Nay rummages in the NWO's "Useful Box" for some industrial-strength doses of Reality-in-a-Capsule, fails to find any left (we shills must have used them up), but settles for some Big Disappointment Invisi-Patches that we can slap on the Twoofers when we're congratulating them on their part in overthrowing the Man.

Let's see what the respective sides in the revolution will have:
Us: US Army, US Navy, Marines, Air Force. Numerous professionals with high-level degrees and training, boatloads of intelligence and creativity.
Them: A couple of lunatic washed-up academics, numerous pimply-faced youth who are too lazy to get up off the couch, three bullhorns and some t-shirts.
Yep, this is going to be quite the revolution. Wake me up when it's over!

This revolution will probably be similar to what happened in Uganda, when Idi Amin threw out all the people of Indian descent, who owned many of the businesses in the country. He gave all their businesses to the locals...then found out, too late, that the locals didn't know how to run a business.

A "revolution", :D those wacky Loose Change kids. They are really going to be disappointed. The centre, centre-left, and centre-right have all rejected 9/11 Truthiness. You're left with a loose (no pun intended) collection of Trots, (some) anarcho-capitalists, (some) woowoo Greens, racial nationalists, Islamic nationalists, Islamic fundamentalists, pseudo-intellectuals, pseudo-scientists, and not to mention some (but not all) with severe personality issues. There isn't an effective base for a revolution there. I rather think this talk of "revolution" is wishful thinking from a group of keyboard commandos.

Ah, now the NWO's devilshly delicious plan reveals itself. A revolution undertaken by that odd assortment will inevitably descend into chaotic multi-sided civil war as per Iraq.

And as chaos ensues, who will sweep in to restore order and gain control? UN legions mass on the Canadian border even as we speak!

I am not clear about that either. They have their 'TRUTH!111' rallies, YouTube videos, books and radio shows. The very existence of those things undermines the "America = police state" argument that you hear from tinfoil-town.

I know that many Troofers aren't expressly anti-Semitic but they seem to unquestioningly buy into a lot of the far-right sourced stuff in the Truthiness movement. If the Troofers had their revolution, the Jews would not be in a safe position.

The United States Army.
They are busy in Iraq. You might want to get your musket down from over the fireplace, clean it, and have some powder and shot available for when your local militia musters.

(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—

(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.[1]
You can be a Minuteman, even if your lady prefers you to be a fifteen minute man. :D

On a more sober note, do you realize that the White Nationalist movement tend to find LC and Alex Jones credible? That is where the footsoldiers for this revolution would tend to come from, and I want you to consider:

About 2,000 Tim McVeighs.

How damaging could they be?

Televised? That's so yesterday, man! This revolution is going to be on YouTube! The winner will be decided by which gets the most hits:
The five minute video of Fetzer and Jones marching on the UN with a petition and bullhorn (guess who carries which?)... or
Outtakes from Rambo XI

Get thouse itchy mouse-fingers ready! We're going to change the world from our basement, guys!

On a more serious note.....
This sort of thing happened in the Anti-War movement in the 60's. First it was the traditional peaceniks, then a coalition of same plus students, then add-in the disenfranchised from the Civil Rights movement, the angry vets, and a few others and you have the same sort of strange bedfellows mixture.

And lest one forget, that movement did have some violent offshoots.
I personally don't think the White is Right crowd need much to inspire them to stupid violent acts, but I also don't think 9/11 would be their particular spark. But the big mouths on the various forums could inspire Weathermen-type side groups.

Problem is, the dumb bastages would probably meet on line where they would all be recorded for posterity.

Yeah, just like in '69, right after Woodstock! "Hey, man! All the boots at Fort Dix are from New York, man! They were all drafted and don't wanna be there... we could take over an army base, man!"

I wonder if The Revolution (tm) will be televised.

I plan on being embedded with the 501st People's Rabble.

Well, evidently they're far better organized than I'd thought. Seems they're still holding down regular jobs, so they're scheduling the revolution for Saturdays as often as possible. (And it looks like it's being televised on local cable!)

A little googling is all it takes to get the low-down!

The fact that he's calling for anarchy doesn't bother me half as much as his belief that LC:FC will be the harbinger of said chaos.

But let's stay on topic and get this picnic planned, shall we? Who's bringing the beer?

I'll bring some weed. If we all toke enough then we might be able to bring the conversation down to a level that twoofers understand.

This revolution will probably be similar to what happened in Uganda, when Idi Amin threw out all the people of Indian descent, who owned many of the businesses in the country. He gave all their businesses to the locals...then found out, too late, that the locals didn't know how to run a business.

Judging by how many times I've heard that we'll all be "punished" for covering up the "truth," I'd have to say that a twoofer revolution would look something like the Cambodian one in 1975.
