My mate was always banging on about controlled demolition this, the pentagon that, so this evening, after a few glasses of wine, we sat down and watched both parts of the Hardfire debate with the terrifying Mark Roberts and Dylan and Jason.

Seeing how clueless Bermas was, and how mute Avery had been, my housemate was due to concede that they were wrong, and a bunch of kids who made this in their spare time but are desperate to defend it. Only to fail, thanks to dedicated souls.

Thanks Mark! You made one less truther in the world!

Luckily for me I live with 3 other guys who are all pretty rational and quick. All of them think I'm wasting my time debating people on the LC forums but it really doesn't bother me.

The argument is useless and a belief based on faith is nothing you can change.

Wow! If I send you some yarn, could you make me one.

I was on another forum when 9/11 happened and one of the people talked about how Loose Change was the motherload of documentaries and all that stuff. I then started debunking it and was attacked at saying it was my prerogative that I'm defending the US government. I gave them a few questions, posed a few scenarios, and they all went silent. After my ban at LCF, I told them about it, and they were set straight.

At university, there was another person who was also into woo, and I kept telling him that it's not possible along with all the explanations, to which he kept asking if it was remotely possible. He eventually stopped talking about 9/11 conspiracies and he is distancing himself away from the topic whenever it comes up.

Yeah, but returning a Brit to the world of sanity isn't as difficult, so it's only a moderate achievement.

it constantly fasinates me how so many of JREF 'truth critics' consider loose change to be the exclusive representation of the truth movement, and the only alternative to the official story.

there is such a thing as thinking independently

Not an exclusive representation? But I thought the revolution starts after the release of Loose Change Final Cut

Edit: Good Job with the Conversion!

We don’t see LC as the final word on “troofyness”, it is however the propaganda piece which is getting most attention amongst the general public, hence the amount of attention which sceptics give it.
And thinking independently is all well and good, but when your thoughts revolt and declare total independence from reality, it can cause problems.

timmyg,

That is a fine and dandy way of admitting that Loose Change messed up :)

My wife: Look at all this dog hair!

Me: That's a big pile, all right. Why don't you knit us another dog?

It happens to be the most popular.

And yes, we've seen the troother side try to move the target with disasterous results:

"Don't bother with Loose Change! That's kid's stuff. You should pay attention to the Scholars for 9/11 Truth! Betcha can't do that, huh?"

(Sound of Jones being debunked to hell and back, Sound of Fetzer being humiliated, Sound of 'Scholars' schism in fulll swing)

"uh...stop picking on the scholars...they don't represent the movement! Why don't you debunk 911mysteries! Betcha can't do that!"

(Sound of screw911mysteries being made. Sound of 911mysteries imploding.)

"That's not fair!!! What about...."

Continue ad nauseum.

Okay, one-upmanship.....

1971.... In the supermarket in Montreal. Standing in line with a 25 pound bag of kitty litter and 30 cans of cat food.....
(It's early winter and I'm wearing the most horrible sweater - knitted for me by my current girlfriend... a bad imitation serape...)

Lady in line: Wow! Look at all that, and no food for you. You must really love your cats.
Me: Not really.
Lady in line: Oh surely you're joking... you must be devoted to them.
Me: No... seriously. I raise them for the wool.
LIL: (wide-eyed stare)
Me: Sure! How do you think I got this sweater?

Actually that makes sense, around 700 Million NWO operatives, agents and shills are used to keep down the roughly 300 million genuine US citizens.
It's the key piece of the jigsaw that the troofers have been missing....
