Anyone trying to track information on the Mormon signs may have better luck if they spell Cumorah correctly.

What's this in reference to? Did Randi misspell Cumorah in a recent commentary?

It will be in tomorrow's Swift. It has been suggested to me that I should not link to future issues, but it is up now if you want to fiddle with the URL. (Hint, it is based on the date). I can't blame Randi because someone who wrote to him spelled it wrong.

Gotcha. Just read it. Here's a sentence from the "cat story" which I think needs some correction:
Think: how many other glorious stories of psychic wonders or super-sense events might have been revealed as less-than-mysterious, had not chance provided the real answers...?I think the word "not" needs to be struck from the last phrase.
Also, I think the story about his paraphrasing Churchill should be expunged. He didn't set up his punchline as well as Churchill supposedly did, and regardless, his telling of the story (which smacks of braggadocio), as well as his offhand description of the woman as "obese and unattractive" do him no credit.
Ah, well.

Randi will eat humble pie and correct these errors in his next commentary.
......ah.....hold on.....last time I said that I ended up wearing that pie on my face. :o
