In all my life I've never known anyone with one leg shorter than the other.

I have known a few amputees though.

Why is it that faith healers can "fix" having one leg shorter than the other, but not make an amputated or congenitally disfigured limb grow?

For what it's worth, my right leg is an inch and a half shorter than my left. Also, my knees don't match up; my right is about two inches lower than my left. Never really bothered me though (I've run about a dozen marathons).
