1. God is omnipotent and omnibenevolent.
2. This means that there is nothing he cannot do (omnipotence) yet he can do no evil (omnibenevolent).
3. Since there is nothing he cannot do, and he cannot do evil, it follows that evil is nothing.
4. The devil is evil.
5. Therefore the devil does not exist.
6. Without the devil, there will be no hell.
7. There is no heaven without a hell.
8. Therefore, there is no heaven.
9. Without God, heaven could not exist.
10. As shown above, heaven does not exist.
AND THEREFORE GOD DOES NOT EXIST!!!!!!!
MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

What God does is by definition good. But he created creative beings, and the same cannot be said about the creative beings he created.
I can rape a woman, if I wanted to. But I am not going to do that. Does that mean rape is nothing?

But anyway, If everything god does is good, would you agree that he is incapable of doing evil? If so then he isnt omnipotent is he?

Oh. :|
Yes, god is incapable of doing evil. I think "omnipotence" is a silly concept. God's nature is omnipotence, and what is not in God's nature is not related to omnipotence.

???!!!?!
So basically you are arbitrarily redefining omnipotence from "the ability to do everything and anything" to "what I think my god can do without being a completely illogical sack of contradictions"
Your justification of this is that the concept of omnipotence is "silly".
I agree.
Thats why I find the concept of god silly.

I appreciate the irony of using fundamentalist's own beloved KJV Bible against them, but I have to point out that for most of the quotes you gave, modern translations use "disaster" or "calamity" or something like that in place of "evil". So, for them it could be argued that the act was not evil even though God caused a disaster.
However, the 1.Sam 16:14-23 is a clear case of an evil spirit working on orders of God.

Tattoos of what? And if you look at the great comedy character poll, the English are beating the Americans easily.

Yep, so God's as good or evil as s/he wants to be.
And not to forget, God made lots of biblical characters do terrible things. "Hardening the heart" of Pharaoh so he could stick it to Egypt a little harder, as an example. Of course, in all such examples, we have God pulling people's strings, and no free will at work.
Nobody does anything without God's say-so, so in truth, it could be argued that "God made him it", when some member of the clergy rapes a child.
After all, to use the popular religious arguments, nothing "just happens". It's all "God's Will".
God made everything.
God made you.
God is responsible for you.
Don't worry. You were predestined to go to Heaven or Hell before you were ever born, anyway.
Isn't following "fate" to its logical conclusions fun?

Some Christians (such as Mormons) dont believe in Hell, they believe Hell and Satan are symbols of evil.
