For anyone who doesn't watch "The Soup" on E TV...it is sarcastic/humorous look at talk shows and reality TV...using clips and generally making fun of how awful reality TV and daytime talk shows can be.

Anyway, this weekend, they ran a segment called "Sylvia Browne: apathetic psychic" or somehting close to that.

A very funny/disturbing clip of her psychicness enumerating past lives for a questioner on Montel ... as Joel McHale -- the Soup's MC -- pointed out, it suggested that the questioner's past lives were all pretty much as a loser.

He also had a very good time with her dulcet -- Luciel Ball-like -- tones...whisky and cigerets, but not in an alluring combo.

Anyway, it was all very funny. I don't know if the Soup has a website or if it can be found on youtube...but if it can, Robert should think about connecting to it...very funny and sad for those who belive her...

I caught that. They also played the clip when Sylvia tells the lady her mother's dying words were "your father isn't your father".

Joel McHale and The Soup are great. So meaty.

The clip is on the website...you have to wait for it through a Dr. Phil segment and a Martha Stewart segment but it is there...about three minutes in. Very funny...

Get me my Benson Hedges!

Yep...that was pretty unbelievable...so kind...wonder what angel she was heeding there?

The victem's question was, essentially, "I couldn't understand my mother's last words...what were they?"

Sylvia: Your father isn't your father...

Not, I love you. Not, I want you to have your grandmother's ring. But your father isn't your father. Nice.

Sylvia certainly is a pathetic psychic. Are you sure that's not what they said, headscratcher4?

You may be right...it seems to work either way...but in the scene she's like very laid-back, crusty and more than a little cranky...no pep.

The media in general seems to be more willing to take her on and mock her these days. Could be my imagination and the fact I'm paying more attention....I'm happy to see it no matter what!!
