Proposed Rules:

The topic for this debate will be "9/11 Mysteries provides a factually accurate account of the events that took place on 9/11, and an accurate description of why the Twin Towers and WTC7 collapsed".

pdohrety76 will be arguing the pro position and will open the debate.
The Doc will argue the con position.

Each debater will have one opening statement each. This will be followed by 3 alternating replies (including rebuttals) each. There will then be one closing statement each and no rebuttal.

No post will be longer than 800 words and in the case of the closing statement no longer than 500 words.

Credits or references at the bottom do not count towards the word total.

Editing is strictly forbidden 30 minutes after posting. This means any editing, for any reason. Any edited posts (after 30 minutes of posting) will be completely deleted.

Opening and closing statements must not contain any images. Excluding both the opening and closing statements, only three images and no more than 5 references can be included for each post.

Responses should be made within 24 hours, if people are late with their replies, they run the risk of forfeiting their reply and possibly the debate.

I might have my history wrong here, but... a while ago he claimed to have renounced the way of the truther and became a debunker. After a while he admitted to it being an experiment of sorts, to see how the debunkers would react... and then I think he tried to claim it was his brother who had posted all that (conversion and admission), and that he gained access to pdoh's account because the password was... "password".

I know others have followed that saga better than I have, so... hopefully they'll correct me.

Near the very end of 2006, P'doh claimed that he was 'no longer a truther'. He kept up the facade, mostly via a low profile.

He then gave it up and admitted he lied after the minor buzz it caused faded. He admitted that he did it to try and 'trap' JREF members into trying to cozy up to him. He never got more than a thread suggesting a debanning that went nowhere.

If you would care to explain why you won't debate on an internet forum, that would be great. While you are at it, could you would also care to explain why you won't debate me on the topic of a movie for which you said my "rebuttals got it all wrong". If you are so confident with your claims, you should be able to debate me on that subject.

I will not debate you on radio P'doh, for several reasons. First of all, I don't want to get into an unmoderated shouting match with someone as immature as yourself. Second of all, radio does not allow either side to provide sources, and quite frankly, giving you the opportunity to lie without backing yourself up is something I am not wishing to do.

Here is why he refused.

The truthers are real great at making one liners, spewing various little bits of seemingly important info (that in reality usually is of no significance), raising doubts, pointing out coincidences, and making insults.

What they SUCK at is providing a cohesive theory on any aspect of 9/11. They cannot take their "what ifs" and their "thats peculars" and form a unified theory on any issue. As a result, a moderated FORUMS format, where they have to lay out the evidence, but cannot intimidate, mock, or loud mouth/yell over their opponent, is a format they despise.

Can't say I blame him...If I were PDoh I'd be afraid to debate on a Public Forum as well...lol

Just remember to keep pointing out that the collapse started far eariler then the typical CT video of it, and that while the north face folded up on top of the rubble pile, the southern face hit nearby buildings damaging them so seriously that one (60 West Broadway?) had to be pulled down.
