Allegedly, Mark already has a Part 2 of "The Ground Zeros" out? Maybe chuck can let Mark know.
If these truthers can't even follow the links in the description, there is really no point watching that video.

That was a hoot, Mark. It's got the LCFers in meltdown.
I also liked your choice of music, including my all-time Mose Allison favorite.
May I suggest another tune to use in the future.... Screamin' Jay Hawkins's original (1969) version of "Constipation Blues." I just know you can find an appropriate place to fit it in. ;)

http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/greet012.gifI think it's well known that I don't like it when people lie about 9/11 at Ground Zero and refuse to learn about their claims or correct their mistakes. But I only shot a few minutes of video, so it wasn't as if I cherry-picked a few choice moments. They really behave this way. Just look at the videos they have produced for evidence of that. The video is about their behavior and isn't meant to be an analysis of their claims – others have done that quite well. I did throw in several links for further research.
Happy birthday, Rawkarma!

I haven't been going to GZ on Saturdays for months, because I don't see anything left to accomplish there. It's not worth the time to try to talk sense into one or two truthers who may be open to reason. The rest of them are true cult believers and aren't going to be swayed.

OMG!!!!!
At about 13:00, Les Jamieson says, "9/11 was not an inside job"!!!!!
Quote mining is fun!
I have to admit, an extremely optimistic soul could be forgiven for hoping that when Les states that: "911 is not an inside job" (12:51) in answer to Mark's challenge to: "name one thing I've gotten wrong", that Les -- realizing that he was drawing nothing but blanks on that, and feeling the cool refreshing wind (that moved Marks' signs) on his face -- finally came to the realization that he can't disprove anything Mark says by offering up proof for any of his kooky claims.
Sadly, but not surprisingly, it's not long (13:00) before Les spouts more bs in reply to Mark and any-and-all challenges with that special brand of irony that only a truther can say with a straight face: "everything, everything, everything you've gotten wrong."
Thanks, Rawkarma. I'm torrent-challenged, so I really appreciate this

Goodaye Mark,
I feel like an idiot complaining as well considering the amount of material I have leant to the effort to debunk, but the text I felt should have been condensed more into less screens, but I do tend to read faster then most. I do enjoy the way you pretty much just make them speak to make them look stupid. Ever thought of using your own voice as narration and maybe adding some video of yourself discussing what they do before you show it and after? I reckon it would be a chance to add a lot more humour and less text, however I do understand this aint your day job hahaha...
I wish I was motivated enough to finish my 9/11 death metal song.
Gravy
23rd May 2007, 09:36 PM
I agree about the text. I was working with VERY primitive software that kept garbling the ends of longer passages like this: %&>@^^̄, so I had to break them up. Also, I had intended to release it in three parts, but decided they didn't stand up as well on their own. There wasn't supposed to be so much reading at one sitting.
My voice? I'm not crazy about it, although I don't have a bad singing voice. Maybe I'll sing the narration for the next one. Or maybe I can get Martin Sheen. Also, the audio input on my computer is broken.

It would have been decent if Mark had let that poster stay and let his stay. They never tore down his so why should he tear down theirs? At least have some COURTESY. I say he is scared. I mean if what we say is all lies and untrue then why do they even have to retaliate against us for?

Only ONE looser has shown a shred of embaressment for the actions of his fellow twoofers depicted in the video.
Wow.I don't know, it seems they missed the point entirely. The Zeros both took my signs down and repeatedly covered mine with theirs, although there was ample room for all of their signs. I left them that room, not to mention the fact that they could have put theirs anywhere else. But that wasn't enough for them.
That video doesn't show the times when they ran around desperately keeping their bodies between me and the wall to try to prevent me from posting my signs, as if they owned the public space. They looked awfully silly doing that and eventually dropped the tactic.
Then there was the day or two when Tom Foti decided that he would stand about a foot in front of me, facing me, everywhere I went. That didn't work out so well for him, because he's a lot shorter than I am, and he kept smashing into innocent pedestrians while trying to stay in front of me.

Gravy, definitely a low-quality, badly edited, sophomoric, over-the-top, preaching-to-the-choir, more-heat-than-light exercise in frustration.
If this video represented your contribution to the fight, you'd be laughable.
I loved it.
Fortunately, you carry around more facts in your folder (just to have hard copies--it appears you have all the relevant data memorized) than an army of troothers could hope to compete with. Fortunately, you have taken it upon yourself to not "just ask questions", but to go out and find the relevant answers. Fortunately, every cherry-picked quote they offer, you know in its context; every carefully selected sound bite, you can tell them what came before it and after it; every false bit of info, you recognize for what it is and have the corresponding actual info. I'm tempted to say you "have total evidence", but that phrase has been sullied.
Add me to the list of those who offer to buy you beers. Dude, you should never have to buy in NYC again. Can't the Mayor decree something like that?

Not true.
When you see people cover Mr Roberts signs with theirs, all the while preaching about how their rights are being systematically taken away you can't help but notice the glaring hypocrisy.
When you see that some people actually think NIST says there were bombs in the towers, you have to wonder about some of the people who claim to be preaching the truth (of course i must add that most truthers acknowledge that NIST does not endorse the CD theory).
About the "amateurish" quality, well that is to be expected. It is not a major motion picture, nor do i think Mr Roberts has the equipment to make such a piece. With that said, the tongue and cheek approach certainly works.
Most people who browse youtube/googvid are looking for light hearted entertainment. Not gritty facts. His film serves its purpose and links people to websites where you can find the gritty details.

Unlike LCFC, it will be a masterpiece, an outstanding celluloid master piece that will leave the word totally stunned. A piece of documentary excellence, historically correct in every manner, fact filled, evidence backed, knock down , don’t get up, world changing, show stopping example of research. A documentary to end all documentaries, where the truthers flood to the gates of the cimera, chanting and singing “Inside Job”. Wow, MM, your standards are low, I am sure they will be fore filled
You help the 9/11 Truth Movement immensely when the fence sitters get to see your idea of an effective counterpunch video.
The truth movement needs no counter punch movie, they simply need mocking. Anybody can do so; anybody can see the sad saps that fall for this garbage. The video (and truther response / reaction) only goes to show that they believe what they want to believe, and nothing is ever, ever going to change their minds. Ever. Absolutely nothing. EVER. PERIOD.
Obstinately sitting there in proud ignorance of reality. Completely beligerant and childish. Ignoring all facts. They will never wake up. It's really quite sad. Honestly, I feel bad for these people. To have such little self-esteem that they can't even begin to fathom the possibility they could be wrong. They can't even entertain the notion in the slightest. They will turn a blind eye to anything that shows them to be wrong, while hanging onto the threads of ridiculously weak "evidence" which is nothing more than mistakes, mistatements, and misunderstanding.
The sad thing is alot of these guys KNOW the things they preach are wrong, and yet the continue to preach them. What's that say about a so called "truth" movement? Some of them are dupes who just believe. But some of them willfully propigate lies and misinformation. Either because they simply cannot face the real truth, or they just have to be part of the "clique". (or even worse, to make money. That should bother you truthers, you are being marks for people who want to take advantage of your gullible ignorance).
They create fake people who are witnesses to bolster their claim. I believe they rationalize it to themselves as "one of these days some real people will come forward, and for now, it's ok to make people up because it may encourage the real people to come forward".
They are the ones who live in a dream world, and believe a "fairy tale" of a story (and a big one at that). All becuase it fits their preconcieved notions of a world where big, evil groups control everything behind the scenes. It's a more exciting world than what we really have, and so it's easy to get swept up into that mindset when you are a young person with very little real life experience, and far too much fantasy (movies, games), and very little education of history and reality.
All the while completely ignoring the victims. Oh they pay lip service to the fact that they are the ones who "really" support the victims, but that's just ridiculous spin. Like the poor guy in this video, who lost so many family on that day.. He has to sit and listen to these ignorant, childish fools spout off their nonsense. Anyone notice who utterly quiet (and frankly guilty) the truthers looked in the video when this guy was yelling at them? They just sat there looking at their feet. It's so obvious that they KNOW they are preaching nonsense. People like him were a wake up call. But they simply endured it till he left, and then continued on like nothing happened. They simply hit the snooze button. Absolutely despiciable. Just pissin on the graves of victims every single day. This, more than anything, else infuriates me.
But I really find it troubling that anyone could sit and believe something that has been so demonstrably proven to be a compete farce. Absolutely no intellectual honesty going on there at all. Pure, stubborn beligerance and nothing else. It's completely and utterly mind boggling.
I really am dismayed over this. It's very sad. How can people be so willfully ignorant?

In my opinion "Who's paying you?" is possibly the biggest compliment anyone can give you Gravy. Keep up the good work. :)

I don't know, it seems they missed the point entirely. The Zeros both took my signs down and repeatedly covered mine with theirs, although there was ample room for all of their signs. I left them that room, not to mention the fact that they could have put theirs anywhere else. But that wasn't enough for them.
That's why I was amazed that only one Looser was at all shamed by their behaviour.
Great soundtrack by the way. (Well, apart from Katie bloody Melua, yeuch)

I finally got to watch this whole thing today and it was absolutely priceless. Mark, you are truly a great man. What you do is something I would never have the patience for. Your relentless research, and going out into potential harms way against these lunatic cult members. It's just awe inspiring. Thank you for standing up for the real truth, and the victims.
He does it, because inside every Truther there is an intelligent person, trying to get out.

According to one of the comments, "Abby Scott is now on the fence."
I really didn't know who this was prior to a google search.
How does this prove 9/11 was an inside job?

I noticed in the thread at LCF they were going on about how Mark shouldn't have been "whining" about his signs being taken down. But I know if Mark had done to truther signs what Jack, etc did to his, they would have made multiple videos like this trashing him.
I love how it's ok for the truthers to cover up or take down mark's signs, but when he wants to put them back, they attack him (on LCF) as being a whiny little [Rule 8]. (Roxdog)
I saw someone asked Roxdog if making a video of confrontations at GZ was what made mark a "whiny little ...". And posted a video created by a truther which was the same type of thing.....then the thread was promptly closed.

I'll ask. If you pay me to.
Yes, I'm obsessed with money. Does it show?

It doesn't count if you're not a lunatic that actually means it.

What the hey?
Sorry, don't check the boards as much as I used to, but I can seriously say that absolutely not. There is no fence that I am on.
