Check out the thing in the solar light (http://thinginthesolarlight.com/) and do let me know if you can actually see anything - I'm having trouble.

4. How would a species that "feeds" on "electricity" have survived before the "electrical age"?
4. " Electricity" is present all over in nature. The earth has magnetic poles. The sun emits other wavelengths besides the visible white light. WE have our own electrical currents in our brains, and nervous system.
One of the problems facing physicists is that not enough neutrinos are present in the sunlight reaching earth. Creatures who "eat" neutrinos might be one explanation for the loss.

Woo-fecking woo! Where to start?
The 'currents' in our brain are electrochemical, actively mediated by the action of proteins. They bear very little resemblance to currents in electrical circuits. The resulting fields are barely detectable on the surface of the scalp.
The 'neutrino oscillation problem' has been solved. Neutrinos oscillate between three different flavors.
Neutrinos are uncharged particles and have nothing to do with electircal fields anyway.

Someone could use a refresher course on the difference between hypotheses and theories, and on the scientific method in general.

Just a reflection. The lengths some people will go to for 15 minutes of fame...

I looked at the 'stills from the video' page and didn't see anything worth writing home about. The reflection off the glass pane doesn't look interesting, and in the blow-ups they are pushing the resolution beyond what is reasonable.

Sorry, AP, but I thought I'd just jump in and say we don't have an actual current in our nervous system. No electrons as such are conveyed - we have an electrical difference, or an action potential, which is simply a difference in electronegativity across a membrane. It's this difference which is the impulse, not any real current.
Not to say that this has any relevance to this post. Sorry I said anything.
I think I'll go throw stones at children now.

Nah, throw 'em at old people instead. They're worth more points.
But seriously, folks:
I think the funny-looking reflectio--- er, I mean, the funny-looking energy creature from another dimension that inhabits these folks' outdoor lamp is in cahoots with the same aliens who carved the giant vaguely-humanoid face on Mars.

*shudder*
Those people scare the hell out of me.
Princess Di indeed. I had trouble even seeing a facelike shape there at all, let alone recognising the face and seeing another face in its hair.
Visual confabulation, it's called. With very pronounced lack of insight. One of those people is messed up, and the other is very easily led. Or, they're both one or the other.

This is spooky. Its just like an old Outer Limits that scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.
