...and he gets murdered the next day.
Reported in other British newspapers as well, but not sure if she claims to be a psychic or what.
A FORTUNE teller told the Earl of Shaftesbury he had a happy future — the day before he was murdered, a court heard yesterday.
The Earl, 66, visited Martine Dupre-Cordier to ask for advice on his troubled love life.
He was divorcing third wife Jamila M’Barek and having an affair with hooker Nadia Orche, 36.
M’Barek and her brother Mohammed are accused of plotting to murder the playboy aristocrat who disappeared from the French Riviera in 2004. His body was found in the foothills of the French Alps five months later.
Ms Dupre-Cordier, from Cannes, told the court in Nice: “The lord told me he wanted to divorce his wife.
“He said he was very much in love with Nadia and wanted to have a child with her.”
The fortune teller, who was paid £35 for her predictions, said she told him his divorce would go smoothly and happiness lay ahead.
Asked if she forecast his death, she replied: “No.”
