I think Sammy Davis Jr. was one of the most under rated performers of his time (well, maybe of my time. I think he had a fairly good fan base earlier in his carrier).

He could dance, sing, and a not so well known fact, I believe, was that he did impersonations, and did them very well IMHO.

In my younger days I had a two album set (yea, they were vinyl ;)) of his. Had some beautiful singing, and maybe 5 or 10 mins of him doing impersonations. The years have erased the names of whom he impersonated from my memory, but I know he did them very well.

OK, that's all. Just wanted to share a bit of admiration for someone that gave me some very pleasant times. A true entertainer IMHO.
