This is what can happen when you align yourself with, and are a party to, the deceptions of the Bush Administration. Our mainstream media won't do it, so it's left up to students, faculty. And of course comedians. And the Internet. Outlets for outrage:

This has been part of the playbook since Bush took office. The whole "be a nuisance on campus" thing. If they are giving a speech, be a nuisance until the speech is canceled. If it isn't, be a nuisance to embarrass them.
What's new here? You honestly think this is some sort of sweet justice being doled out by the wisest among us?
Edit: this isn't limited to merely your daily show-heads. The real kooks show up too as Bill Krystol found out.
