Give it a few years -- upcoming missions and projects in addition to refined detection techniques will cause that figure rise rather dramatically.
If you want to have some fun, check out the New Worlds Atlas (http://planetquest1.jpl.nasa.gov/atlas/atlas_index.cfm) (it's lagging slightly behind the updated exo total but is still handy for a sense of perspective).
