This makes me wonder what he's going to do when he realizes the stupidity of his error- will he actually check credentials, or just remove people he believes to be "suspect"?
Someone should actually enter some real architects/engineers, with real credentials- and then call them and have them sue him. If he doesn't check credentials, he's responsible for the slander. Plus, it will just throw a wrench in any future attempts to allow the slush in.

Thank you for your individual support of AE911Truth.org! Our joining together as one voice will make a huge difference! Until then please spread the word to all the building professionals you are in contact with and send them the www.ae911truth.org link and urge them to take a serious look at our no-nonsense research into the hard evidence of controlled demolition at the 3 World Trade Center high-rise buildings on 9/11. Yeah, shame on people for pointing out that credentials mean nothing to a group... which was created to give the appearance of credentials...
Times like this- I'm reminded of Phil Plait (The Bad Astronomer) in the P&T episode on conspiracy theories: "The astronauts didn't go to the moon to take pictures of the stars, they went to the moon to take pictures of nnnnnnnnnnyaaaaaa the MOON!"
That part cracks me up every time.

Where did they see the tons of molten Metal? I have yet to see the tons of molten metal. How do these truther dolts find tons of molteh metal and keep it secret for 5 years?

As I suspected- he's just gone in and removed the obvious ones- instead of rethinking the admittance policy altogether. This means that there are still plenty of individuals on there that don't exist, or do not agree with the ae911truth site. They really do think they are more popular than they really are.

To be fair, it wasn't his fault. All he did was push the sample into the beam. The resonance cascade was completely the fault of the scientists that designed the stupid experiment.

I am very informed at sticking foot in mouth. It is not the age, but I do share your experience in orbital trips around the sun.
I was looking up some of the people who signed up. They share our age, but why are they not into the facts? What is that part of awareness they have suspended, and skipped to a conclusion that is false and not supported.
You are right it is not age. But why have they made the leap and missed the entire truth?
They have lost another one - 71 - down from 72. In three days they will be back to ONE.

FINALLY I can feel comfortable in my own skin discussing this issue. It is no longer an embarrassing urban myth type issue. The issue has REAL legs. Lets here Tucker Carlson call these experts “Quacks” - as he did with Dr. Jones. Lets see the media attempt to call a prestigious cross-section of dozens of engineers, architects and physicists with ACCREDITATION “conspiracy theorists.”
Poor guy. :D

Ya know, I'm getting a bit tired of these posts that make me feel old.
Back in my day, we used to watch The Hardy Boys on the Mickey Mouse Club TV show. We only had two TV channels, but we liked it.
I remember the day we were playing four-square in the alley behind our house, and I decided to climb a telephone pole, just before I went sorting through trash bins. I found a .22 caliber pistol, and took it home to mom. She was canning peaches, so she told me to mow the lawn, but I had to deliver my paper route so that I could go swimming. She clipped a peach pit to my belt and told me to grab a bus token and go buy a popsicle, but bread cost ten cents, so I fell asleep.
So don't call me old........

About the number of TV channels, I recall the day my dad came home with a new TV - a black-and-white Zenith that had about a 13 inch picture. Below where it said "Zenith," it said "All Channel." I was excited to see that because I thought we'd start getting more than one channel. I was disappointed.

Deborah Raad, assistant to the academic dean at Vermont Technical College, informs me that Rice taught there until his retirement in either 1987 or 1989. The whole site is nonsense, and their forum is just a cloning of PFT or LCF. They're already banning people they don't like and naturally ignoring their own trolls.
Thus far they have, like, a popcorn engineer and a buttered toast engineer, and that's about it from the Truther side posting on the forum. But naturally they have ChuckSheen, IamTruth, Pdoh, Roxdog(the real and a nice fake who's probably one of our good friends here), Ace Baker, and 28th Kingdom.
Gee, I didn't know these guys were engineers/architects?

So don't call me old........
I ain't sayin' nothin', cause in a few years I'll look at those newfangled kids with their newfangled holographic reality simulators that I can't stand and I'm going to feel old. ;)
I was walking through Srebrenica once, which is still pretty much trashed from the war. Bombed out buildings and such. Only about 10% of the population had returned at the time. Anyway... I came across this little Internet cafe, one of the few businesses in town, and looked inside to see a bunch of teenagers blowing each other way in Half Life. Kinda sureal.
That is incredibly surreal.
Needed more Ravenholme.
But with less of those poison headcrab throwing zombies and more circular saw blades.
If by "less of" you mean "none" then I totally agree with you. I hated those stupid things.
Did the G-Man finally get Gordon Freeman off of the list?
Yes, he appears to have finally been removed. He should've been listed a physicist though, not an architect. :)

Hi Richard;
Thanks for the response. The point I'm trying to make is why not show the complete collapse (WTC 7) on the home page (upper right corner). This seems deceptive because you only show part of the collapse then ask the question CD? The building didn't fall in 6.6 seconds right?
xxxxx- you are the only one I have ever heard so far who disagrees with the 6.5 second fall. Not even the debunkers challenge this. Richard

The web site and the forum have become bright lights for the bugs of truthyness of all things 9/11 truth. It must of been a dry year.
What is this need to join a movement for Dick Gage? Has the truth movement elite started selling franchises. Canned PowerPoint presentation starters, how to book talks for money. What is going on, did the truth elite read the book on Roy Kroc? This new web site is like a clone of all the rest in the truth movement. If you have the time to see Gage's version of 9/11, you will learn, you have seen it before. Mr Gage does not ever get any architect "stink" on it.

Because there are too many competing theories and competing personalities for more than a handful of Twoofers to exist under one roof at one time. Twoofers have wildly different ideas about what caused 9-11, and even those who do agree can't put their egos aside for the good of the cause. As the saying goes, the Twoof movement has a lot of chiefs and relatively few indians.
It's all about market share now. 9-11 Truth is just another fringe group, and it's being marketed to just like every other fringe group. Every form of woo that exists -- alien abductions, tax-evasion schemes, NESARA, crystals, you name it -- has a group of people that makes a living by enabling it with books, DVDs, and websites. 9-11 conspiracy theory is just a new flavor of that pie.
There are dozens of 9-11 Truth groups for the same reason your town has dozens of hamburger stands. It's not about the highminded ideal of making sure everyone has a hamburger; it's about what the market will bear, made up of people competing with each other to carve out their own piece of the action.
The 9-11 conspiracy phenomenon makes a lot more sense when you view it for what it is -- a business venture, not a political movement.

Looks from this like the only person on the forum will be Richard Gage.
Members and friends,
We will be re-setting the Forum for use by members only. This will allow us to engage in a much more productive discussion, debate and research. All are welcome to join AE911truth.org and you will be displayed as a member on our website demanding a Congressional investigation with subpoena power of the building collapses on 9/11. Architectural and engineering professionals will be displayed along with your professional status, City, and State or residence or practice after we contact you and verify your identity and credentials. "Others" will be displayed pending similar verification. You will then have access to the user forum.
We regret that we have had to take these measures which are due to the abuse of the forum by those who do not respect productive technical analysis and have been disruptive to the discussions. I also regret that I have been completely slammed preparing for and giving the 2 talks in Canada this week such that I was unable to participate in some of the more productive discussions that have taken place here.
We will provide a post to guide everyone in the re-registering process. Again - sorry for pulling the carpet right at the beginning, but we have lost patience with impostors, disruptors, etc. I guess we had to learn the hard way.
We'll see you members on the new Forum!

Create a fake branch of the 'truth' movement supposedly made up of Architects and Engineers, then start a forum.

Then, and this is the genius part, make a bold announcement that in order to avoid all the skeptics and their inconvenient facts, you're going to make the forum subscription only. At which point all the eager young 'truthers' will be offering up their names, addresses, telephone numbers and any other bits of personal information we can wring out of them, in order to belong to the exclusive 'truther' club.

I was thinking of doing that also, as a mechanical engineering student. I'm not sure it'd be worth it, though--I'm sure they'd just kick me out as soon as I opened my mouth. Also, as I've previously pointed out to a member of S911T, I feel that Canon 6, and its Interpretation a) of the ASME Code of Ethics (http://files.asme.org/asmeorg/Communities/Students/8853.pdf) prohibits me from joining or participating in any events sponsored by such an organization.
6. Engineers shall associate only with reputable persons or organizations.
a. Engineers shall not knowingly associate with or permit the use of their names or firm names in business ventures by any person or firm which they know, or have reason to believe, are engaging in business or professional practices of a fraudulent or dishonest nature.
In addition, I feel that Canon 7 and Interpretations a), b), and d) thereof also apply to AE911T

I'd join the site, however I have two problems.
1. For others to see my name associated with the site might hinder my research and credibility.
2. Currently they have added NOTHING new to the debate and tend to be far behind current research. Gage uses a phony explosion video, they claim there's only one photo of WTC7 fire, alive hijackers, etc. etc.
I imagine that a lot of us here could pass the qualifications to be listed, but I agree with you, Kent. Unless and until it an open site, I don't plan on associating my name with that web site.

I think CB_Brooklyn is an Ace sock, hes taken to talking to himself.
A CB_Brooklyn turned up on a Irish message board forum just the other day. After we started laughing at Judy Wood's new paper's appendices.

CB_Brooklyn is also at DU, where he's posted a thread claiming that the ae911 boards are a 9/11 Cover Up Perp site. Evidently, he was spamming the ae911 boards with things like Killtown's Frozen Fireball crap and the ubiquitous Half In/Half Out 175 freezeframe. So maybe we can't take all the credit.

If AIA does not make Gage take down their symbol and name, then they do not live up to their own words.
I find it ironic that AIA refuses to recognise European qualifications, although there is little doubt that they're equivalent standard, yet let this poor misguided fellow join.

Well, the AIA isn't the liscensing authority over here. It's just a professional organization. I could join if I wanted to pay the dues, and I'm still a couple of years away from even being eligible to take the liscensing exam.

I guess it's because this Gage bloke is unlikely to steal anybody's job. Can't be having qualified folks coming over from Europe and taking the jobs of hard working American Architects. Much better to sign up local loonies who will never get any work anyway.

I am not sure any real, honest, rational architect or engineer should join the site. I recall reading that he automatically puts your name on their protest/petition for another 9/11 investigation. Seems to me that should be an option, not something done automatically.
Not to mention, you would then be one of the "X" number of architects and engineers that he will quote as "Not believing the official story". Also something I do not think he should be doing without member approval.

If they do not take action and ask Gage to remove the AIA symbol then they are like the BBB, just a club of guys to protect each other, not really living up to a code. (better business bureau)
I assume Gage had made his money before he went nuts. But there could be a bunch of nuts who believe in lies like him.

I was treading on eggshells over there, trying to draw out of a professional just why they should believe the wtc had to be cd.
All I got was a guy claiming to be a structual engineer (Griff) but unwilling to give his opinion about the structure of the towers, an electrical engineer called doug who didn't believe in experts just basic logic (read: Common sense) and a kid from LCF (citizen pawn).
e^n did sterling work trying to be reasonable but how he manages to remain composed is beyond me (though having read through the lcf thread that turned into a debate about abortion I can only conclude that e^n has the patience of a saint)

I think this is their plan, and exactly why a lot of us won't be joining. If Gage wants to limit discussion to those who already agree with his conclusions, I guess that's his prerogative.

This is another good point. For the ASME Code of Ethics, I can see this as not "hold[ing] paramount the public . . . welfare" by calling for unnecessary, and therefore wasteful, additional investigations. More seriously, I also see it as "indiscriminat[e] critici[sm]" of other engineers' work; specifically those who prepared the ASCE and NIST reports.
I think I also brought this up about S911T, now that you've reminded me.

Before you post randomly in a previous thread, it would be good to learn the forum etiquette.
Start a new thread--or look up (there is a search function, if you'd like to learn to use it) what has been done and said on the topic first.
Otherwise, you look like another one of the spamming twoofers, and get treated abruptly.
In answer to the question, though--why should they look at anything other than root cause material?[/attemt to derail derail]

As a relatively new poster here, I'm simply flabergasted by people who have committed or are considering fraud to attack an organization like AE when the facts alone from FEMA, NIST, and the Federal Government should stand on their own.
Why would you discredit yourself in an attempt to discredit an organization?
Shouldn't the facts and experts alone discredit A/E911?
Your activities alone bring into doubt the official story. Why the need to commit fraud if the facts of the OS are exactly that?
IMHO, the tactics only bring into question why someone would do that with the end result being support for the official story that should stand on its own.

The reason, in this particular case, for pretending to be an architect or engineer, is to demonstrate that there is no verification process to determine whether someone claiming to be so actually is an architect or engineer. It's a relevant matter, because one of the most serious failings of the Truth Movement is that while they make claims that rely on architectural and engineering expertise, they don't have anyone on board who actually possesses such expertise. The issue in this case is the claim to have a stack of engineers who support their ideas. By showing how easy it is to make fraudulent claims, the credibility of the site has been shown to be doubtful.
As to whether the people involved have been acting fraudulently - to act fraudulently implies an intent to decieve. In this case, they have publicly advertised what they have done. It may be disruptive, but there is clearly no intention to decieve.

A&E for truth is founded on the very notion that they are all qualified to speak with authority on what they claim to be evidence of controlled demolition of the wtc buildings.
That they are not very choosy about who they include in their list of 'qualified' people, and that they themselves are not as qualified as they would have the world believe merely invites the ridicule they deserve for being so pathetically arrogant to assume that no one would notice or test them.
And lets face it, if they can't even get a simple thing like a bloody website right, what hope is there that they're going to be right about anything else?
Oh, and it's fun to mock them.

The facts and experts do discredit AE911, Swing.
Part of this is the fact that people who AE911 claims are experts are in fact not experts.
God only knows how AE911's shabby membership standards is something that discredits debunkers.

Its that they represent an authority on the subject matter they don't have. Its like giving someone legal council and making them think you are a lawyer. It can be disastrous for a person not in the know.
That and we like to be a-holes sometimes.
