How would I go about arranging a non-religious funeral for myself in the UK?

Contact a few funeral directors and get some recommendations for civil celebrants who also conduct funerals.
Do you even WANT a funeral? Do you want some kind of "life celebration" to be held at a separate time from when your body is disposed of or do want both to occur at the same time. Do you want to organise music, readings, etc yourself, or are you happy to have that organised by others?
The more specific you can be about what you do and do not want, the easier it will be for your wishes to be carried out.

The Humanist Society can help on this, recommending 'celebrants' and such like.
A link that was blocked by the work filter, but it might help (www.humanism.org.uk/thebha/affiliatedgroups.shtml )

I've noticed that some local authorities have "natural" burial grounds.
