Aliens have studied our earth and what's on it for thousands, maybe millions of years. They have discovered that our planet keeps getting gassier and gassier. They are curious as to where all this gas is coming from. By abducting animals and people, they are probably learning that all of life, including plant and animal life give off gas. They are probably learning that the reason for the existance of all species is to give off gas. You see, they learned years ago that the purpose for higher life was not to exist on a planet so that we could ask for forgiveness for conducting natural acts that man has dubbed the term "sin" on. No...they are finding out that every life form needs to consume an energy form (which we call food), so that it can convert it to a gas byproduct and then send it out into space via various cavities of the body. So yes...they do like to cut into the intestines.

The smartest aliens that have visited us have probably discovered by now that our planet is evolving and even creating entire new species from lower life forms that give off a gas, which when mixed with other species gases, create new elements for forming new life forms. And,,,besides gas, there are excretements that wind up in the earth, and these excretements create a new 'soup' in the ground, that is condusive to either new plantlife, and/or causing existant plant life to grow bigger and healthier.

There will be no smiley face inserted because this is a most plausible theory to all life on earth.
