View Full Version : I think I'm done

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I've decided to give up my 9/11 debunking work.

Let me say first of all that this has nothing to do with me changing my mind about anything. I have seen more than enough evidence to make up my mind that 9/11 was NOT an inside job.

The fact of the matter is that I found a lot of information about the World Trade Center and WTC 7, but not a lot on Flight 93 or The Pentagon. After I finished my work on those two topics in my journal, along with a couple of other things like Operation Northwoods, I found myself doing nothing more than reinventing the wheel with my writings on WTC 1, 2, and 7, not to mention that there are plenty of scientific papers out there that do a much better job than I can.

There is just one more thing I want to do, and that is to put my work into an actual web page rather than a journal. I will probably get a domain from godaddy.com, something along the lines of 911debunkerguide.com or something like that. I just want a little better organization of my work.

The main thing is that debating this is just getting too tedious for me. The facts simply aren't on the side of the truthers, and that is why they aren't having any success putting anyone in prison or "revealing the truth" like they said. It's been 6 years since 9/11. For heaven's sake, the United States fought and resolved World War II in less time than that. People will forever be suspicious, just as they are with the JFK conspiracy, but this 9/11 conspiracy will never gain any credible ground.

That and the fact that there is so much info out there already is what is bringing me to my "retirement". I'm not done yet though, and when I make the actual web page, I'll be sure to try and give it some publicity so it doesn't get lost in the abyss of the internet. In fact, if any of you are any good at putting together web pages, I'd appreciate the help. We'll see if this works out, although I may just leave my journal as it is. I don't know. I just know that I'm getting tired of the debate and don't want to deal with it any more.

Now, I ask the truthers out there to not be immature and say "oh man, Chippy realized he lost, so he's giving up! 9/11 truth is winning!", knowing full well that I am banned from LCF and can't come over there to tell you that you're wrong and have misinterpreted what I am doing.

You have done excellent work, indeed, chippy, and it will still stand if you choose to bow out of the constant, ongoing, (often annoying, aggravating, and frustrating) debunking efforts. Kudos to you, chippy.

That said, I do hope that if you choose to bow out, you'll still come around to visit occasionally just for fun :)

I was just thinking that any reasonably active JREFer -- even a minor leaguer such as myself -- could probably become the next Willie Rodriguez and be the toast of the 9/11 CT community simply by rejecting the OCT and embracing their lunacy. Think of how much mileage they'd get out of it: "Ex-JREF member, one of the biggest debunkers, finally sees the light and joins us truthers." Want to rub shoulders with Chuck and Rosie, be the "must have" interview for CT podcasts and blogs, feted across CT boards everywhere? Just renounce skepticism and enlist in Avery's Army. Hell, you might even manage to eke out a living at it. All it would cost you is your last ounce of self-respect.

I volunteer. I'm a sometime actor anyway so they'd never suspect. Plus I'm a halfway decent wiseass which they ain't got a one so that'd fill some kind of gap. And believe me they have lots of gaps. Um, let's see, I don't have any self-respect (being an actor and all).

And it'd be a great way to meet chicks. It's those black T-shirts what does it and although my "turn womenfolk into rock-star-like groupies" color is actually mauve, I can adjust. I'll wear sunglasses with mauve frames. If I'm really lady-lucky I might even get a date with Judy Wood, with Indira Singh and Sibol Edmonds as standbys in case JW wimps out.

You guys are all shills anyway. I shear the wool of your sheepleness in Seattle.

Chippy, you are a steely-eyed skeptical super-sleuth. I remember that night I listened to you go up against that turdly Berger cat, you were terrific. Even though Bergermeister got 90% of the talk time.

Keep kicking twoofer tushes whereever you encounter them, Chipster!

Strange you felt to announce it? Well played though, well played.

I dont go out of my way on other message boards at all to debunk this stuff unless it rears its head but even then, I hardly frequent any other message boards.

I find it fun to come to this place and reply to stupid posts because this is the only place where conspiracies can be discussed, dissected and ripped apart with the underlying theme of the JREF ethics. No ad homs, just facts is the winner. You provided those chippy, so I hope you continue to pop in and be a winner.

However, since you have access to our most sensitive secrets, the agent who brings it to you will be authorized to kill you and take it back.

Disregard the above. I have personally sent out the agent with the gold watch. His orders are to kill the watch and take you back. Only so we can wipe your mind clean, of course - you'll be returned in time for the evening news.

Looking forward to reading your webpage, chippy, and posting the link wherever possible.

Please don't think you need to leave the JREF forum completely. Your standard of skepticism is what makes this place the refuge from insanity and illogic that it is. Plus, you may find your skepticism is needed in other subjects.

Unfortunately I think Chippy could be the first victim of the troothers new terror weapon

Boredom..........

Seriously I have never seen people so keen to find the truth but so reticent to actually do any research.

That creates the problem for debunkers because they have to wait for a troother to make their claim before they can respond. Otherwise they get trapped in the logic trap of trying to prove a negative.

Chippy:

Sad, but understandable, to see you go. I myself am in the process of deciding if I will be taking a hiatus or not. For me it is a matter of recollecting myself. It is so easy to become lost in this whole mess.

You have made wonderful contributions, and I look forward to your website. Please post a link when it is up.

if you want any help with a website, just PM me. i can't do fancy flash things, but i can set you up with a nice PHP based debunking site, similar to this site, with forums, content, photo galleries, etc.

And my gammy knee is pretty much healed, so although I'm not offski you'll be seeing me a fair bit less too. Designing real tall buildings is much more fun that debating with CTers who claim to know how they're built.

Unless AE911Truth actually agree to our proposed debate, of course. But I'm not holding my breath. ;)

Well, I'm not "done," but I'm afraid my posting volume will be going way down. I've just joined the development team on Stargate Worlds (http://www.stargateworlds.com/) so my day job will have much less free time than my current DBA position. So, I'll be posting in the evenings now. I won't be leaving completely; I know, I know, you all can always hope. ;)

Yes congrats Arkan...well done.

As for me, I am going to reduce my posting much in the way Enigma has. I find I am so annoyed by some of the recent truthers posting here that I am losing my edge, making quick judgements, quick to temper...gotta take time to reflect, refresh, and I also want to do alot more reading...gonna go back to the commission report, gonna try and tackle PNAC in its entirety... a few things like that.

Besides, it is summer, so it is hard to type on the comp when the sun is blasting down, and the beer and patio are calling out my name.

Congratulations, Arkan, and have fun. :)

Best wishes, T.A.M. :)

I too am taking a step back, and am not participating in any debunking of twoofers at the moment, though I am reading a hard copy of the commission report.

Actually, I haven't picked it up for a few days. I find it refreshingly honest, but heavy going, and I think I'm at the point where I think, "Why do I have to absorb all this stuff? It's not like I need convincing it was not an inside job!"

I'll continue to check here for the latest developments, but I probably won't be seen in the long threads - you know, the threads that reach 8 pages in an evening due to a stubborn twoofer's appearance.

I've done my time in the gulags (or should that be "woolags" :)), and my evil NWO overlords have finally granted me Rec Leave.
