View Full Version : Cops Taking on Troofer Cop(s)

Looking for something else related to a crime thread elsewhere, I came across a law enforcement forum, Officer.com. It's restricted to Law Enforcement, and I have a feeling they enforce their rules, so the posts are by police personnel.
Thinking they might have something on the topic I was looking for I slogged in.
Astonished, I found an old five page forum debate, inspired by someone who posted LC.
I just spent a pleasant 90 minutes reading it. Not surprisingly, there are even a few troofer cops, but for the most part, the reaction is as you'd expect it to be. (Some pretty solid work by a couple of guys, notably BrickCop and CT.SB.... The main trooper troofer - cue ominous music - is ChineseServant.)
CT.SB even links the Gravy-Ron v. Loose Change debates.
Fun reading, even if nothing new to most here:

It looks like a coordinated attack by troofers.
"C'mon man, just watch the video."
"I have a few questions."
Have the LC posters participated in non-conspiracy topics or is that the only case of their forum participation?

StoneWT,
Actually, it's mostly one troofer with a lot of posts, with maybe a couple of hangers-on. But, out of curiosity, because your question's a good one, I went and did some checking and both sides of the argument have regular posters in other areas. Actually, it's a pretty diverse group as regards political beliefs, the 8:2 smackdown on the LC and Troofer videos is rather more lopsided than a lot of their other threads.
There's another anti-everything conspiradroid, TinMan.... he seems to star in a few threads.
Like I said in the OP.... interesting reading. Turns out that cops are every bit as well-informed (or alternately, ill-informed) as the rest of us.

It took you 90 minutes to read that thread, or to browse through the site? Because that thread is only like five pages long.:D

Truthfully, yes. But not knowing the forum or the players, I was going back and forth to re-read some of the commenters a few times, just to get a handle on who was who. (And I tried checking profiles, but that's not allowed so maybe I wandered a bit.)
But I read through it rather carefully.... Don't go messin' with no cops where I come from!

My Step-Dad was a CHP for 30 years. So I can attest that those in law enforcement do not like to be misquoted. So it was a good idea for you to make sure you had it right.
Besides I was just giving you a hard time.:)

I was actually hoping they allowed visitors. I was going to ask a couple to drive by now and then and just check the 'hood over here. Can you imagine the fun.
Office Muldoon:
"Okay, Lyte, step away from the thread! Nice and easy! Keep the hands where we can see 'em."
"Ace, shouldn't you be getting on home, now. No loitering. Nothing here for you!"

Well they did find Gravy's dismantling of the LC's Tweedledee and Tweedledum so I'm kinda surprised no one investigated and then linked to here.
