What exactly is he implying with his wink?
It means it's going to be an interpretive dance instead of the video everyone thinks it's going to be.

My only hope is they are respectful enough to have their screening in a closed hall somewhere.
If they display it anywhere outside on a projection screen, I think I will lose my mind, and they will likely be mobbed by angry NYCers.

Woohoo! Concerts!
After all, what is a revolution if it isn't accompanied by music.
ETA: Events for family members and rescue workers ... I can't wait to see what sort of disrespect they have planned.

Interestingly enough there was a big scandal down this way last year because it was proposed that there was a rock concert at the ANZAC Day ceremonies at Gallipoli. The reasoning being that more and more young people are attending.
This suggestion was thoroughly rejected as totally unsuitable for a memorial site.
Bear in mind this is a service for something that happened over 90 years ago. No one present at the ceremonies actually experienced the event.

They're not having a screening at Ground Zero.

I'm willing to bet the model of Kimi Raikkonen's last McLaren Mercedes car (Which I spent $110 in Monte Carlo) that LC:FC won't air in GZ.

The events they have planned are at different locations in the city. Ground Zero does not have screening facilities, nor would the city or the Port Authority allow such an event to take place.

Well, since they pulled the GZ film, it meant that I won the bet and I did nothing.

Well that is some comfort at least, but still, if they decide to hold the screening in some park somewhere, out in the open, anywhere in NYC on 9/10/07, I have a feeling it may not be well received.

Didn't Avery promise it would be done for 9/11/2006?
How did that wise saying (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushism) go? Oh, yeah: "fool me once, shame on ... shame on you? Fool me - you can't get fooled again."

Don't they usually have someone with a portable DVD player at GZ, so they can annoy random people?

In a public park? I wonder what their response would be to folks chanting or a blowhard on a megaphone yelling at them during their public screening.

Don't they already chant "9/11 was an inside job" on megaphones during Ground Zero memorials every anniversary?

Yes, even his brown eye (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=brown+eye) would be a black eye.

Yes. I was just saying that I don't think they'd be stupid enough to hold a public screening where these same tactics could easily be used to disrupt their home-video. (Personally, I find these types of actions immature, and I am not suggesting them at all. But I think it would be quite poetic if their precious film was interupted by loudmouths on bullhorns).
Of course, knowing the CT mindset, "freedom of speech" seems to be limited to their own views only (See: Truthers removing Gravy's signs at GZ; Mark Dice (John Conner) trying to get the Satanic Bible removed from a bookstore; the entire LC forums; etc)

it would not surprise me if the truthers were obnoxious and ignorant enough to have a "truthapalooza" in Central Park on 9/10/07...

If they do screen their crap on that day they'd better have insurance coverage on their equipment, because Best Buy's extended warranty won't cover the type of damage their projector would suffer.

I'm starting to think Dylan and Axl are related. Or they share the same production team.
