Christopher Hitchens was on Radio 5 yesterday (link here (http://%22%20http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/rmhttp/downloadtrial/fivelive/thedailymayo/thedailymayo_20070618-1600_40_st.mp3), interview starts an hour in) and it's a delight to listen to, particularly when a really limp Anglican reverend calls in. Hitchens cuts him asunder, and then mutters under just under his breath "credulous loon", to the veiled astonishment of the host.
He also mentions Randi, claims he's an underwriter of the JREF prize and that it's worth not one but *three* million. Anyone know anything about that?

Peter and Christopher Hitchens were on the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning talking about "God is not Great". I didn't catch it, but I'm just about to, if my work firewall will let me. It's currently on 'listen again (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/)'. This is the direct link (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/ram/today4_20070619.ram), it should be about 20 minutes in.
ETA: 19:20 is where the intro starts.
And I think it's 'sheep-faced loon' in the Simon Mayo interview :sheep:

volatile, your link is broken. Is there a link to the MP3 file so I can listen to it on the go?
ETA: OK, I figured it out. Here is the MP3 link:

I was about to post on the same topic in the Million Dollar Challenge forum.
In addition to the $3 million vs. $1 million issue, Hitchens also said that the challenge involved Randi duplicating the claimant's "ability." Either the Challenge has changed pretty significantly, or there's a second challenge out there, or [insert obligatory reference to Hitchens' fondness for alcohol]
