Who's posts continually make you laugh at their naivete and/ or dumbassed-ness? For me it's LUCUS. Here's a late example:

In person I am a force to be reckoned with now. I have so many facts about 911 there is not a person who can go up against me now.

Every single person who I have confronted about 911 in the past 2 months that gives me any "flack" has either been left speechless, eventually agrees, or just gives up.

I have become a wall of truth they can't break through.

I just want my one shot at Bill Oreilly. God just give me some miracle please that gets me the chance at his mangy carcass.

Give me one 1/2 hour debate with Oreilly and take mic control away from him and I will make him my personal bitch.

When you know so many facts and can say them in a bold assertive way there is no stopping it.

Bring it on Oreilly, Malken, or Hannity.

Heh.

Honestly? NK-44, he researches things properly and while he seems to believe in the truth movement despite their lack of ability to do the same thing I respect his attention to detail.

Comedy? MirageMemories, after taking a week to reply to me initially is berating me now for not replying to his 6 post combo with at least 2 major sections entirely stolen from someone else, once without credit too.

I will respond eventually but I will do so when I have some more free time, at the moment i am configuring a distributed filesystem and testing it, and that takes more attention than you realise :(

Nico Haupt, unlikely as it may seem, and mainly because I am becoming more interested in the movement than I am the actual theories. Nico's been around since the beginning, and has a track record of accuracy with me when talking about the other people in the movement. He definitely tuned me into the whole Les Jamieson/Urantia blowup that was waiting to happen, which has resulted in the emergence of the We Are Change group as the de facto leaders of the NY Deniers. May be a positive overall (withering of the Ground Zeros), but these folks are definitely crazier than Les Jamieson.

My personal favorite Truther-Pet is Killtown. To discuss with him is like talking to a child or a "nanny goat" - and therefore a real pain in the ass. But it can be funny nevertheless to follow his conclusions.

I never talked to Nico - even if I could do this in german, but he seems to be drifted away down the toilet of paranoia. So he might not be the best interlocutor. :boxedin:

I bet LUCUS gets the ladies with all his truthiness.

The sad part is that he probably does try...

But the ladies get disappointed real fast when they find out that he can't get a clue. :(

This sort of brushes on an area I was going to start a thread about. I wonder if perhaps this forum is too exciting for the little tykes. I mean, by now this subforum has a legendary reputation amongst the conspiracy theorists crowd as the absolute arch nemesis of truth. Notice that the experienced salty members of the truth movement avoid this place like the plague.

What we get is the eager beavers that have only recently stumbled upon 9/11 enlightenment. The prospect of coming here and offering up all their new shiny facts to the absolute bane of their movement goes to their head. Like a nervous boy, when they turn up here they suffer a premature ejaculation of troofer facts that leaves a very sticky mess.

I'd cite, for example, Non Believer. In the "primary radar" thread he had his ass utterly handed to him on a silver platter, yet he's like the energizer bunny. It's as if the excitement of debating with JREF ninjas has short circuited the poor little fella, and data's spilling from every opening unhindered.

The conspiracy theorists who come here are 14 year old virgins, and we're Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, Angelina Jolie, whoever, lying naked and ready. It's just too much for them. The experienced truthers don't bother because they know they can't perform to our standards.

And while us international sex goddesses might find brief amusement in the sticky disaster that is our visitors here, ultimately we're suffering from severe sexual frustration, which is why we keep playing with ourselves.

For some odd reason I flashed to the South Park episode that saw Paris Hilton in a very dark place.:D

Klowntown is my fav as far as goofines goes.

He would add 10 apples plus ten oranges and tell you that there are 20 apples. Then again there have been others that would add 10 apples and 10 oranges and tell you that there are 21 left shoes.

I don't have a favorite.

But I love this notion of NWO or some all controlled power slowly plotting to take over the world by killing a few thousands people a year. And at that rate their plan should bear fruit by the next millenia.

I'm sure it's strictly coincidental that this is more or less the same reaction many people have when confronted by any raving street lunatic spewing nonsense that makes the Timecube guy seem like Abraham Lincoln.

Dylan and Killtown are my top two favourites for the reason that they have invested so much, can't turn back, and make up so much stupidity that it is comedic.

So much Truthy goodness... who's my fave?

Oh, I'd have to say Mark Dice. In my opinion, he's the truther equivalent of a bad car wreck. I know I should just keep driving by, but I can't help slowing down to look. And I'm usually disgusted by what I see. Some points of note:

His initial "John Conner" character. Cheesey name (spelled incorrectly, as well) Dark glasses. Bad videos. Horrible 'acting'. His 'Manifesto' (hey, didn't the Unabomber have one of those?). I would say that Dice was "style without substance", but that seems to indicate that he has style. Dice tries for style, but fails miserabley.

Vidoes. Watch the one where he jaywalks while screaming "9/11 was an inside job". Highest of high comedy.

Fake self-importance. I've seen several threads on LCF which were started by Mark Dice with what appeared to be a press release about Dice, when in reality these were written about Mark, by Mark, in third person.

Hypocrisy. Mark's the master. He loves to launch into tirades about free speech, but hates gays, and actually filmed an entire video where he tries to get the Satanic Bible removed from a national chain bookstore. Mark supports his free speech... and that's about it.

His college campus visits. When people ignore Mark he calls them names ("Zombies!"). Maybe they are zombies, or perhaps they are steering clear of the psychopath with the dark glasses. His unsuccessful attempts at flirting with the coeds is comedy gold.

Crazyness factor. Mark's got it in spades. He's a fundamentalist christian, AND a 9/11 conspiracy theorist. On top of that, he's a gun nut, and he has a knack for approaching people and getting in their face. All the ingredients are there for a disaster recipe... it's only a matter of time, really.

You raise excellent points. I think that this forum puts a face on the otherwise anonymous "they" whom the CTers claim are responsible for 9/11. It's the closest they'll ever come to actually confronting those they consider the enemy, the internet equivalent of going to battle. They lose of course, they will always lose, for the simple but critical reason that they are obviously and irrefutably wrong. But coming here makes it all real, don't you see, so at the end of the day they can tell themselves that they have done something worthwhile.

In a way, we represent a sort of entrance world, halfway between the fantasy universe they've lived in up to now and reality. In that sense, perhaps we're performing a service to junior CTers, helping them become acquainted with the real world they will eventually need to inhabit one day.

ETA: And as for the OP, "favorite" is a tough word to apply to 9/11 CTers. I think the most interesting are Killtown and Avery. The former because figuring out how he thinks might go a long way to helping explain why people believe insane things with such fervor; the latter because I still think he's more an opportunitst than believer, and now has to deal with the scary, crazy forces swirling around him that he helped to unleash. Either one might be a good candidate for an interesting case study.

John Conner and the Satanic Bible --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MoZqmzHH1Q

John Conner on a bike in Walmart with a bullhorn --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUk8tAyVrgg

Just type Mark Dice or John Conner into Youtube. There's plenty more. Be prepared for mind-numbing stupidity.

His shtick seems to be being in-your-face annoying and disrespectful, then claiming he's silenced and ignored. It's pretty aparent he's hungry for celebrity - I can't think of anything remotely positive about screaming a message from a bullhorn while riding a kids bike in a retail store. It doesn't seem like something that would help further a cause. He already has a 'book', and he appears to be jumping on the "Truther Movie" train as well.

Hopsicker. He's not solely 911, but an all-purpose conspiradroid.

He puts all of his debunkable insanity in book form so it's always available to tear apart. He also works obscure angles so it actually takes a few hours to find the material to debunk him. All in all, a good mental exercise, as he clouds his quotes and occasional facts in so much opinion and conjecture that you have to use a yellow highliter to take his stuff aparat piece by piece.

Was John Connor/Mark Dice the one Danny Bonnaduce went off on in a video? I think it was, but maybe I'm confusing who's who. Anyhow, when someone as nutty as DB has an interaction with someone where he comes out looking like the sane one, that says it all right there.

Yes, John Connor and Mark Dice are the same persons - he changed his name to his real name some months ago because his popularity.

But at this point I might add that my personal most honest Truthers are IVXX and Jarroyo from the LC-Forum. They treated me more fair then most of the other Truthers.

I'll almost agree with you about IVXX. I actually exchanged a few PMs with him in the short time I was over there and he was nice enough for the most part. Of course, this didn't make me any less of a target when the skeptic purge came. I think IVXX is only 'fair' in comparison to the average poster at LCF.

My personal fav is my lunatic moonbat from MySpace, Impeach GeOgre/9.11 Truth (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=91894148&MyToken=36629eb9-f3de-438b-92e2-7eecd53268f9)

She is the one who believed my first Coins video. She's also believes in the moon landing hoax, chemtrails, FEMA Death Happy Camps, the Iran invasion, flouride poison, and just about every other bad evile governement idea out there. If anything, her passion astounds me.

She believes explosives were used in the Twin Towers and WTC 7. She will conclude that a plane hit the towers but in the next breath will advocate a no plane theory. She thinks a missile hit the Pentagon and that everyone saying otherwise is being paid off. She has even gone on record and told me that when she gets a piece of information, she doesn't look at it, she sends it to other people, and she believes everything they say: consequently, if you believe the OCT, you are THE sheep. In her last message to me (about the PFT guys concluding there was no plane that hit the Pentago) after I replied using everything Gravy had on the subject (I even asked for evidence again) that went like this -

when the rest of the world is finally enlightened to the truth, will you still stand there (in solitude) looking like a fool for standing up for LIES? at what point is there enough evidence for you? that's right: never. cuz you're stuck in your belief system. i remember the first time someone hinted that it was an inside job. i was furious. but then I researched it (with an OPEN mind), and here i am today. i'm not unlike the rest of the waking world.

and why would i believe anything you claim over the claims of pilots? these same pilots have grown in number, and have existed since Sept. 11.

once again, you are acting like a complete know-it-all. if you're not a physicist or a controlled demolition expert, you're an expert on flying. and always, of course, seeing "truth" through the eyes of someone who must discount coincidence after coincidence in order to maintain the (flawed) belief system you defend.

and as for the hole in the pentagon, i submit that it was a missile. then, the hole makes much more sense, don't you agree? (of course not).

you can clearly see why I giggle every time she posts.

She's always ready to help too!!

Please have a "plan b" just in case you get some nasty weather. Please do it quickly, because the weather has gotten very strange everywhere. If you can avoid having anything to do with FEMA, please do.

And when she has nothing further to say -
Why don't you go out and join a protest? You know Bush sucks. You know he does.

I honestly believe Mark Dice looked at how stupid irrational and annoying Alex Jones is, and saw it as a challenge to come off worse.
