Did that Kreskin thing ever happen?

Does anyone else remember a few years ago when Kreskin announced that something very big was going to happen over the Nevada desert? I think he may have even given a date (or at least a timeframe).

Has anyone heard from Kreskin regarding this "event"?

I believe that Randi covered that non-event in a Swift or two.

Kreskin and followers went out into the desert, and at some point (IIRC) Kreskin pointed at a light in the sky (likely a plane), and declared that was the "big event."

Search around, there are probably threads here about it.

Kreskin had made the stunning prediction during a Fox-TV network appearance in late April and had agreed to turn over $50,000 to six children's charities if it didn't occur.


So, he didn't have to keep his promise to the children, right? I wonder what he spent the money on?
