You didn't get a reply in the first 15 minutes after posting (at a time when much of the forum is sleeping), so you want a mod to move the thread?

It might help if you defined "telephatia" - it's not returning anything on Google which could possibly be related to headaches; perhaps you have either the spelling or the term itself wrong.

are you asking if telepathy could cause headaches? if that is the question, i would have to say no, since there is no evidence that telepathy exists.

Try the definitions of the prefix and suffix of this word which then ends up as speech at a distance. Shouting can cause headaches.

Pronunciation: 'fa-tik
Function: adjective
Etymology: Greek phatos, verbal of phanai to speak

: of, relating to, or being speech used for social or emotive purposes rather than for communicating information

Variant(s): or tel-
Function: combining form
Etymology: New Latin, from Greek tEle-, tEl-, from tEle far off -- more at PALE-
1 : distant : at a distance : over a distance <telegram>
2 a : telegraph <teletypewriter> b : television <telecast> c : telecommunication <telemarketing>

Yes. telepathy can be a cause of headaches but not in the ways that one would mostlikely guess. A headache for a telepath normaly comes from blocking the reception of a message.

Just because it doesn't exist doesn't mean it can't cause headaches. Invisible pink heavy mallets can cause headaches, and they're logically impossible.

On the other hand, empirical evidence establishes that attempting to comprehend pillory's posts causes headaches.

No, but reading your posts does.

(Oops, Reprise beat me to it!)

No it can't. You are lying. Telepathy doesn't exist, therefore it can't cause headaches. There is no evidence to show that it does exist!

Well, there is only one true reality. Our perceptions of this reality are all different, but that doesn't result in more realities.

Headaches are caused by the deaths of thousands of neurons as your brain tries to convert telepathic thought from another person into thoughts in your own head. Because the enformic fields of the other person's consciousness and your consciousness are incompatible*, your brain cells fry when the disparate mind-body interfaces engage in autonomic bio-electric ramp-ups in an attempt to gain dominance. This effect has been conclusively proven to exist in a meta-analysis of hundreds if not thousands of fourth-hand anecdotes.

*This incompatibility is a fundamental aspect of mind, evolved to prevent damaging cognitive dissonance. Think of it as your personal firewall.

The force is strong with you. Be wary of the power of the dark side!
