Yep, they do. The letter was 'm', and the lines on my hand form a perfect 'm'.

I thought of the letter T, then panicked as I couldn't think of an animal. Went for a Tapir. Don't know where the hell that came from.

That's pretty creepy in itself.

I think we've stumbled upon a weird psychological mystery or something. I'm betting it's because this is a forum of skeptics who were deliberately trying to break the test and be as awkward as possible. I bet believers would not choose x nearly as often.
