Usually when I read an amusing "Letter to the Editor" in our local paper, I post it in "Religion" since that is usually the letter's topic.
Today, however I read one that belongs in either "Politics" or "Conspiracy Theories". "Politics" won the coin toss and so here (http://www.trib.com/articles/2007/07/06/editorial/letters/5f611d8cc96037ba8725730e0075efb8.txt) it is.
And here is a sample:
In the Republican Party it is politically correct to make defective shoes for Union soldiers. It is also correct to start a media campaign and sink a battleship and start the Spanish American War...
...It is politically correct to attempt a coup d'etat against Franklin Roosevelt in 1933. It is correct to sell every sort of weapon to the Japanese and Germans while funding the rise of Hitler...
...Of course the greatest moment for this radical filth came on 911 when a terror stunt was carried out by Israel, Saudi Arabia and the usual Republican crooks. This kept the Pentagon protection racket going for Halliburton and the Carlyle Group.
Hope you enjoy reading the link.
