View Full Version : 9-11 Truthers Issue Ultimatum....sorta

http://www.truthorlies.org/declaration.html
So the 9-11 Deniers have issued a "Decleration of Revolution". In it they demand:
We demand a new, independent 9\11 Investigation
We demand the shutdown of the Federal Reserve
We demand our freedom of speech
We demand our right to bear arms
We demand impeachment and possible imprisonment of all current members of this government who have been involved in criminal acitivity
We demand the withdrawl of all illegal occupations of foreign nations
and if they don't get what they want..they threaten:
"If these demands are not met within an appropriate amount of time, this Revolution may turn into a Resistance!"
So basically, if they dont get exactly what they want, which is almost as pathetic as Al Qaeda demanding all of the USA convert to Islam, they will resort to who knows what.
What will these pseudo-revolutionaries do if the USA doesn't meet their "demands"??? NOTHING. They ain't gonna do sh-t!!!. And why??? Because they are just a bunch of attention seeking, extremist, insane, loony bins. They can't do jack..and they won't do jack. No one is afraid of them, especially the powers that be. I almost hope they try something, just so the country can see how rediculous they are and how they all need a damn straight jacket. But they won't do jack, cause they are pathetic and cowardly. =)

I think its a sign that the 9-11 denial movemant reached its zenith. they won't get any larger, there wont be a new investigation, they wont get millions of people on the washington mall. they know they have lost, and maybe a few of them are feeling antsy.
will any truthers do anything drastic? possibly. they need there own "new pearl harbor".

Yup. The pathetic, uneducated, paranoid, single males who make up the majority of the movement are now starting to realize that there will be no new investigation (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=87106), no revolution, no mass protests in the streets, no peer-reviewed papers, no significant expert backing, no trails, and no twoofer government taking power. And to top it off, most girls find those black t-shirts to be a real turn-off.
In other words, they've wasted months, even years, on a fantasy when they could have been playing video games all this time.
I'd be pissed to.

1. We demand a new, independent 9\11 Investigation - Nearly 3,000 innocent Americans lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. The official government account of the events has been proven false. We demand the truth!
Proven false? When?
2. We demand the shutdown of the Federal Reserve - We lost our rights of Taxation without Representation long ago. The Federal Reserve is a fraud. Not a single penny of our income tax goes to pay for federal programs. We demand answers!
Absolutely true, we fought a war with the British in an effort to lose the right to taxation without representation. Please remember to vote for your choice of congressmen in the next election so that our right to taxation without representation stays lost.
As for the rest of it, "Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
3. We demand our freedom of speech - The First Amendement gives us the right to say what we want, where we want. The Government does not have the right to arrest us for expressing this right. This right is fundamental!
No, it doesn't. It affords you protection against punishment for criticizing the Federal Government. I doesn't let you say anything you want, anywhere you want. If that were true, libel and slander laws would be unconstitutional. The second sentence is true if applied in the proper usage of the First Amendment.
4. We demand our right to bear arms - Americans have the right to own guns. Taking away this right not only empowers criminals, it also strips away a fundamental right, known as the Second Amendement!
Pssst ... You still can own guns. The NRA has got this one covered.
5. We demand impeachment and possible imprisonment of all current members of this government who have been involved in criminal acitivity - These citizens are not above the law and should be treated as equals. We demand justice!
Which crimes would those be? Do you have a list and corroborating evidence to present in a court of law?
6. We demand the withdrawl of all illegal occupations of foreign nations - The occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan have created tension and chaos and have lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people around the world. These occupations also create an increased threat to the citizens of our country!
Hundreds of thousands? Really? http://www.iraqbodycount.org/ is currently estimating a max of 73568 Iraqi's, combined coalition fatalities for Iraq/Afghanistan is only 3898 (source (http://icasualties.org/oif/)) I'm unable to find a decent source for Afghani fatality counts, if someone could point one out.
If these demands are not met within an appropriate amount of time, this Revolution may turn into a Resistance!
What exactly is an "appropriate amount of time"?

The guy behind this failure to impinge on reality, Mike Swenson, is a born-again twoofer. And we all know that born-again anythings are more adamant than the originals. Seriously, if anyone can be convinced by LC:2E, then they haven't a brain-cell to bless themselves with, and I have a really nice bridge I'd like to sell them.Mike is the creator of Truth or Lies and Revolution Radio. He has been involved in Internet radio for over 5 years, first as a electronic music DJ, then as a full time talk show host. He also has journalism experience and has been freelance writing since the age of 12. He first awoke to 9\11 Truth back in mid-2005 after viewing the hit film "Loose Change: 2nd Edition". Since then, he has made it his personal crusade to reveal the truth and expose the lies of the US Government - from Operation Northwoods, to the assasination of JFK, to 9\11 Truth and beyond.

I've seen the truthers claim this several times, that every penny of income tax collected goes to pay interest on the federal debt (which goes to the Fed's evil bankers!), so over at the LC forums I went and checked. In 2007, it looks like the interest on the debt will be about $250 b, and the income tax collected is around $1500 b. It's not even in the same ballpark.

Not that it will do any good, but here's the email I sent off to the creator of the site.
I recently stumbled across your site and I'm confused about a couple things..
1) "We lost our rights of Taxation without Representation long ago." You state this as though taxation without representation is a good thing, and something you want a return to. Are you sure you meant it this way? Losing a right is generally a bad thing. Paying taxes without representation is not a right, it would be a burden. I'm not sure you really meant to say this the way it comes across.
2) " Not a single penny of our income tax goes to pay for federal programs." You may want to revise this statement as well, since it is flat-out wrong. How else are No Child Left Behind, the FDA, Highways and Transportation, FEMA, Homeland Security, and other programs like that paid for?
3)"We demand our freedom of speech" I don't recall this amendment being repealed. If it had, you wouldn't be able to have your website. To what infringement of this right are you referring?
4) "We demand the right to bear arms" Again, this amendment is still in effect. As I write this, I look across the wall to my collection of armaments. No one has come to force me to give them up. Again, to what infringement of this right are you referring?
5) You spelled "withdrawal" incorrectly.
6) "This Revolution may turn into a Resistance" Perhaps you mean the other way around? A resistance generally precedes a revolution.
I don't necessarily disagree with your position, it's just that the site is confusing in relating just what that position is. Clarification would be appreciated.

Or playing with wimmon.

What will this "resistance" look like I wonder....
The insurgent group Truthers With Incredible Tempers (TWIT) launched another series of spit ball attacks on US motorists today. Police say that five people were mildly annoyed and that the insurgents' mothers have been notified. Dylan Avery, the leader of the group, was grounded.

Revolution?? Resistance???
Reminds me of this dialogue from "3rd Rock from the Sun":
Judith: After reviewing all the testimony, the disciplinary committee unanimously votes to admonish Dr. Solomon.
Dick: What does that mean?
Judith: You're officially admonished.
Dick: Does that come with a pay cut?
Judith: No, but if there's another violation, you will be censured.
Dick: Does that come with a pay cut?
Judith: No, but if that fails to stop you, you will be sanctioned, which means a thirty day suspension.
Dick: With pay?
Judith: Yes, with pay.
Dick: Well, that sounds pretty good. Could I be sanctioned right now?
Judith: No, we're adjourned.

So the 9-11 Deniers have issued a "Decleration of Revolution".
:eye-poppi
:dl:
Priceless.
We demand a new, independent 9\11 Investigation
...funded by ???
We demand the shutdown of the Federal Reserve
...because we don't want to pay taxes and support our fellow Americans.
We demand our freedom of speech
...which we are using to write these demands.
We demand our right to bear arms
...which we didn't lose in the first place.
We demand impeachment and possible imprisonment of all current members of this government who have been involved in criminal acitivity
...any criminal activity, including MP3 piracy.
We demand the withdrawl of all illegal occupations of foreign nations
...even though 'illegal' has little meaning in that context.
"If these demands are not met within an appropriate amount of time, this Revolution may turn into a Resistance!"
Good, good. I prefer simple resistance to outward revolution.
What will these pseudo-revolutionaries do if the USA doesn't meet their "demands"??? NOTHING. They ain't gonna do sh-t!!!.
Of course they won't. That might interrupt the steady impot of kool-aid to their damp, tin-foil insulated nuclear shelters.

I demand the right to bare chests for all cute girls.
Nonsense. Then we'd get used to seeing that and then I'd be far, far less fun...
Ultimately, 'the truth' appears to be about taxation.
Surprised ? Really ? Was the truth movement ever anything but the expression of an already-existing hatred for the government and the money they 'steal' from the honest people ?

Reminds me of this dialogue from "3rd Rock from the Sun":
Which reminds me of this dialogue from The Office.
Jim: [picking up a ticket on his desk] What's this?
Dwight: That is a demerit.
Jim: "Jim Halpert, tardiness." Oh, I love it already.
Dwight: You've got to learn, Jim, you're second in command, but that does not put you above the law.
Jim: Oh I understand. And I also have lots of questions. Like what does a demerit mean?
Dwight: Let's put it this way. You do not want to receive three of those.
Jim: Lay it on me.
Dwight: Three demerits, and you'll receive a citation.
Jim: Now that sounds serious.
Dwight: Oh it is serious. Five citations, and you're looking at a violation. Four of those, and you'll receive a verbal warning. Keep it up, and you're looking at a written warning. Two of those,
that'll land you in a world of hurt in the form of a disciplinary review, written up by me and placed on the desk of my immediate superior.
Jim: Which would be me.
Dwight: That...is correct.
Jim: Okay, I want a copy on my desk by the end of the day or you will receive a full disadulation.
Dwight: What's a dis...what's that?
Jim: Oh, you don’t want to know.
[Dwight is scared]

Well, based on the impact that so-called "revolution" has made thus far, I'm not expecting the "resistance" to make much of a dent either. If you throw a revolution followed by a resistance and no one shows up, where do you go from there? Stamp your foot and hold your breath until you turn blue?
Poor, poor souls, so deluded, so pathetic...it's almost funny. Check that, it is funny.
Isn't a revolution, by deninition, more like a resistance movement that's succeeding in making a major change in goverment, i.e. overthrowing the current regime? Wouldn't the move from revolution to resistance be a step backward - basically admitting defeat?

I see their Declaration of Revolution and raise them a Declaration of Revolting.
As part of this declaration the following demands are demanded demandingly:
The "bare chest girl day" will become law through an amendment without all the wasted time of a ratification
All currency will be replaced with poker chips and wooden barrels of lard
All laws, except the "bare chest girl day" law, will be derived from the Community Chest Cards from the board game MonopolyTM
An event known as Hagh Em Dahlem Gerhg will be held once a year. In this event a large group of preening alpha males will be contained in a muddy playing field and given access to adrenaline shots, an inexhaustible supply of whiskey and as many rusty bladed medieval weapons as they want. This will be televised live on ESPN, ABC and Boomerang for no particular reason
Natalie Portman will be my Queen and she will have to be cool with it
By implication I will also be a King, President, First Tiger and Dictator for life of both this country and GROSS
Wings will be sewn to the sides of cows for my amusement
Truthers will banished to a land where there is no sheer lace ANYWHERE!!!!

Yeah, going from revolution to resistance doesn't make much sense, but in the truther world, what does? What they're probably trying to say is that if their "demands" aren't met, they'll stop merely posting on the internet and start doing some other stuff that will make us all sorry -- you know, tough stuff. I think they're trying to sound scary, but what they probably have in mind is more on the order of graffitti and burning bags of feces left on doorsteps. (I mean, come on -- who outside of nursery school would be physically afraid of Avery?) I suspect after they give this "resistance" thing a whirl, they'll escalate to the next step: Group Frowning.
