As skeptics, we can often believe ourselves to be far superior to others. Nothing wrong with that, especially when we are right.

But see this thread as a moderating influence, to stem the superiority we often become accused of...

Hehe...I lol'd.

Unfortunately I don't see this thread getting a great number of responses. After all, the only things I can think of that are deprecating stereotypes of 'debunkers' is that: 1) We have no life, and; 2) When we do venture into the real world, we tend to bore people with debunking stories.

I mean, they make for funny strips, but there are only so many you can do on those two themes...

You forgot 3) We talk to our cats.

Oh, deprecating. I thought they were supposed to get worse over time.

They usually do anyway. :D

If I had the motivation (or the comical prowess), I would attempt to lampoon the way JREFers seem to perpetually supply attention to narcissists, attention-seekers and flat-out lunatics who quite likely don’t even believe what they say.

Ahhh, I see that it didn't take long for William to detect a fun thread and use it to display his lack of a) reading comprehension, and b) a sense of humour.

Aww, don't be sore that I had a little fun with it. My strip works on so many levels it's almost genius.

I'm not sore at all, I was merely noting that you did to this thread what you do to every other "fun" thread, and included that you obviously can't read since the title is "Comic strip a self-depreciating strip" not "Create an attempted JREF bashing Strip". Since that is what you did, obviously you don't understand the meaning of "self"

My strip works on so many levels it's almost genius.

Well as my sig says, It must be fun to lead a life completely unburdened by reality.

Oh I get it. You're not allowed to post in any way off topic in any of the threads, silly me. I'll remember that in future and hope the same courtesy gets extended to any threads I create.

So, you misunderstood the subject of the thread, which means PhantomWolf is somehow being unreasonable.

No, I completely understood the topic of the thread.

Phantomwolf is only being unreasonable if he does not want to extend his analysis to apply to everyone in the forum, I am by no means the worst offender for derailing threads.

It's quite a simple equation really.

The question is how many of your thread have been deliberately derailed on reply #6?

Repost of this, not relevant to the title, but relevant to the humor vampirism displayed.
