How do I make a film that is to be filmed outside a betting shop in north london?

I have made countless shorts in the past, but am looking to do something bigger.

What professional instruction/practice have you had ( the countless shorts applies to (no offense) lots of people with no actual skill/capability (as Youtube and equiv so sadly- and at length - demonstrate)

Man, I have to stop going on JREF when I am drunk. Betting shop? What was that all about?

I sense the need for a new custom title.

If you want it to look good use a quality tripod, a light kit, a 3 ccd camera (always white balance), and a shotgun mic with an xlr cable on a boompole. And get a bunch of people to help you out. Also study framing, composition, and camera and light placement/setup. Look up the rule of thirds and the 180 rule. And if you have a good camera shoot in 16x9. If you want a film look shoot at 24p (24 frames per second). If you have an inexpensive camera you won't be able to do either but just make sure to have good composition in your shots. You can have the best equipment in the world but if you don't know what you're doing it'll still turn out bad.

Hmm...drunk post. Well good info if you ever do want to make a movie. :eye-poppi

I thought you were planning to make a movie about Jackchit's alleged encounter with baseball bat wielding, Gravy defending, NWO thugs outside a betting shop last month. According to Jack, he was slightly bruised.
