The Catholic Church is "surprised, shocked and disappointed" after losing a High Court appeal over a controversial episode of the television show South Park.

From the description, I presumed the usual, but it appears they "kept it clean", just complaining about decency and similar issues. Of course, rhetoric being what it is, and people being what they are, they could very well just be using it as a screen for fighting something they perceive as anti-Catholic. But the way the story is written, they seem to be just complaining about the indecency of the core feature of the episode.

The church also said the judge's decision did not refer to "a significant factor of the complaint - namely the denigration of women".

There are so many sarcastic comments I could make about this statement that I have no idea where to start.

Well, not really. We do have arbitrary censorship everywhere in life. It's just that in this case, the censorship was at the request of a bunch of people whose unicorn got upset.

I hope that South Park takes the catholic church to court for the lies and violence committed in the name of god over the centuries....

Quite honestly I think there should be more shows like South Park or Family Guy.
