Tonight, Dan Abrams gave several minutes of time to supposed exorcisms being performed. These weren't the hollywood style with a couple of priests praying and holding up crucifixes. No, these were the Peter Popoff/Benny Hinn style with the preacher pressing his hand against the forehead and shouting "Leave her, satan." And of course the dutiful followers acted on cue, crying and wailing and then becoming quiet when they're supposedly healed.
There was no voice-over during the video, nor was there any sort of rebuttal. It was more like a commercial for the preacher (can't remember his name.) It would have been the perfect venue for Randi to be a voice of reason. I sent an email to MSNBC suggesting they contact Randi the next time they want to show such drivel.
