*Spoilers*

Finishing this on DVD, we all think we know what happened on Day 5 of '24', but do we?

Why was Jack Bauer able to get from the border of LA, to the very centre in under 20 minutes? Did Logan give him some special device to travel faster?
How could Jack Bauer save an airport from Chechen Terrorists, stop a Nerve Gas plot, and hijack a 757 without eating or going to the toilet? Was Logan giving him something super human?
How was Jack, a crazy, CTU-dwelling Agent, able to hijack a 757 and land it on a highway? Impossible!
Jack manages to get from the centre of LA to Logan's retreat in under 10 minutes. Was the retreat actually on wheels, moving closer to Jack whenever he wanted it to?
Why were there two actors from 'RoboCop'? Jack's arch nemesis, and the Vice-President?
Logan's aim, Oil, is so last-false-flag, why wasn't it this time about something more groovy and pointless?
Why the hell didn't Jack just play the recording of Logan admitting he was complicit down the phone to Chloe, rather than going through the exciting but pointless journey of landing a 757?
How come one plot strand finished EXACTLY as another one picked up again? Coincidence? C'mon...

LOGAN (The bloke from the start of Airplane! ) IS INNOCENT!

This is why Superman wears Jack Bauer pajamas.

Why the hell didn't Jack just play the recording of Logan admitting he was complicit down the phone to Chloe, rather than going through the exciting but pointless journey of landing a 757?

Rule #2 of 24 viewership: Pretty much every season's plot could be whittled down into a two and a half hour movie, but must be padded to make a whole season. There is no other reason, just go with it.
