The Great Awakening Tour

I just saw an ad about this Great Awakening Tour (http://www.revival.com/www/r.aspx?lan=1&p=1&aid=0) coming to town soon. I've never heard of this guy, Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne. Anyone familiar with him? From the ad he looked like a cross between Popoff and Hinn. People were falling down on cue along with the other usual nonsense. It's depressing seeing people behave like that. Just once I'd like to see someone refuse to fall.

On the plus side, he doesn't appear to be playing a major venue, just a local church.

Appears that he and his wife are Dr.s. I'd like to know the history of their Dr. titles. I skimmed over the "About Us" page, but didn't notice anything about collage there.

Anyway, you should go, and figure out what you have to do to get up on stage for a healing. Then have the "Holy Ghost" come over you, and proclaim the good doctor to be a tool of satan or something. Heck, you might be able to get your own church going, and get to travel the world too! ;)

I'd consider it if it didn't require contributing to his bank account. I'd refuse to fall when he does his schtick. "Nope, satan's still there. Try again."
