yes. when an ip or fake registration is deemed to do nothing but vandalize, it goes on their banned ip list and the "fake" registration is subsequently deleted.

try as he might, all he'll accomplish is:
1) the continued vandalism will force the page to go into a registered users only edit (that means those who are valid registered members can edit)
2) abuse by said ip is reported to the ISP to deal with the offender



Oh, guys, please report the offending profile to Myspace, and click "Imposter Profile" as the reason.

It's quite a stretch but it all makes perfect sense for KT.

Ok, so this girl is murdered at Yale. The case went cold. The only apparent suspect was her thesis adviser. The topic of her thesis was Osama Bin Ladin and international terrorism. Keep in mind that this was in 1998.

Her adviser also worked for various defense/intelligence agencies... so KT believes Suzanne was "the first victim" of 9/11.. killed for her thesis work by this thesis adviser who is part of the sinister global plot given all his shadowy connections from previous jobs.

Actually, I meant how could you tell that the Suzanne Jovin MySpace page was made by Killtown. It's obvious that the person behind the blog is the same one doing the vandalism on that wiki entry. You are certain that Killtown is the only nutcase who alleges there are NWO/9-11 connections to this woman's murder?

What happened to the old site?

In February, MySpace caved in to pressure from a fanatical skeptics group to take down the original 'Justice for Suzanne' myspace because this fanatical skeptics group did not like the people who created this site. MySpace gave a generic reason for taking down the site, stating that the site violated it terms of service. We believe the old site did not violate their TOS, but to ensure that this site is not again taken down, we will refrain from posting photos of Suzanne (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=suzanne+jovin&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2) on here for the time being just in case MySpace decides to take this site down like they did with the old one.

the IP address of the person who added the blog as an external link is from a different ISP than killtown used to use on SLCF, but it is from the same city, so i suppose its possible hes at a library or switched providers

its the same layout and text as the previous version that was set up prior (that was found to be bogus). the "blogs" under that profile links to Killtowns blog on her.

Apparently,it is very easy to get back on Wikipedia after being banned by the usual tactics (sockpuppets,etc).
Frankly,I have given up on Wikipedia ever improving much.The whole basic "Anybody Can Edit It" concept is fatally flawed. It's another idea that sounds good but it is a nightmare in reality.

Heh. I had submitted an abuse report to MySpace, simply stating that "[t]he person who created this profile in no way represents Suzanne Jovin, her family, or her friends."

Given the response I got back, the person who received my abuse report seemed to think I was related to Suzanne. I actually feel bad about that. I guess I need to be a little more clear the next time I do something like that...
