ChrIslam --

The name says it all: a symbioses of Christianity and Islam that peacefully unites the Middle East with the West. Mostly. For awhile.

Indeed it seems an acceptable stopgap strategy for the next 20-30 years, until humanity migrates towards the next phase: drum roll pls..... 100% truly secular world society!

Wouldn't that be awesome? What would we call our society at that point? I often dream about living in such an enlightened future.

Any thoughts on this, fellow JREFers?

Yeah. You're nuts.

It is far more likely that Christianily will morph into secularism than it will into Islam.

It is far more lilely that Islam will morph into secularism than it will into Islam.

It is far more likely that all religions will (very) slowly morph into some form of Humanism than any other amalgamation. The end result will be secular humanism with many sub-variants.

Or the Sun will fade out. I'm not sure which comes first.

Great idea. Since history teaches us that intrafaith squabbles never happen, if everyone belonged to the same faith, there'd be no ire in the land.

Which version of Christianity and which version of Islam?
