Interesting reading.

Gosh after reading this article it sounds as though Schwarzenegger may be a good candidate for a congressional seat or maybe president!

I hope he maintains honesty about his drug use and sex. I would respect the man wholly more.

Looks like the republicans are running a hit campaign on their own man now.

That makes three of us. However I might add that I would bet good money that he won't.

Surprisingly, what bothered me the most about this article was that he (imo) cheated against his competitors--making them talk when they shouldn't, even tricking one man into leaving the stage when he thought Schwartzenegger was going to leave with him. (He didn't).
Not a good way to win, though AS apparently has no regrets.
I also am intrigued that someone who now wants to be governor of California, with all its complex problems, seems to have no intellectual thoughts of any sort.
He had a dream to be a great bodybuilder, and he did, and he works at keeping his body beautiful for many hours every day. That kind of preoccupation with onesself is commendable in one way and kind of appalling in another. He's got an impressive drive and an impressive body. Beyond that, I just don't see the intellect, the analytical ability, or even the curiosity to deal with the complex problems of governing. If he wasn't famous as an "actor", too, would anyone be taking him seriously at all?
Running for governor just seems another example of the "vanity thing"--like body building and like his movies. Why are people even considering voting for him? Ueberroth seems a better choice for moderate Republicans than Schwartzenegger. I just don't understand it.

Sounds like he fits in perfectly with the Kennedy family. :)

Well, morally probably with Ted. :( Intellectually, apparently, with none. :(

He could be lying. Sometimes I like to talk big to try and impress people, but when you go and check out my story, things don't always add up 100%.
Are there any witnesses?

The bigger question is, who gives a crap? He was talking about what, the swinging lifestyle of male bodybuilders in the late seventies?

At last, someting I can agree with corplinx about. Consensual, private sex from 30 years ago is completely irrelevant to this election.
On the other hand, sexual assault in 2000 should be considered against a candidate who claims "nothing will haunt me." On WeLove Arnold.com (http://www.welovearnold.com/) about halfway down, you will find a photo of Arnold grabbing a TV host's behind. That same week, The Sun reported that the married father of four had fondled one of Big Screen TV presenter Anna Richardson's breasts after an interview. For the record, federal law says "sexual assault may or may not involve force and include such things as grabbing or fondling."
Legally, we are talking about something more serious that what Clinton did with Monica.

I want to know why these women aren't coming forward and saying they were there. Someone should track them down.

Could be because they live in England and don't care about the California recall. One of the incidents was broadcast on British television, but the producer who holds the rights has said he is not willing to sell the tape.

Usually when I grab a behind, my hand is cupped or my fingers are in grabbing poses. Not only that, when I grab a behind my hand is usually on the behind and not the hip.
Is there a picture where he actually is grabbing ass?
Really, I could care less about the Kali mess. My position has always been that the recall shouldn't happen. You elected the schmoe, you should live with the schmoe. However, some of the new "get arnold" stuff I've been seeing has been laughable and I can't help but comment.

Anna Richardson came forward to complain. The quotes from friends in this article and in Premiere (even TIME and Newsweek) indicate "Arnold will be Arnold" and that's just how he is.
The sex and drugs in the Oui article don't bother me, but the sexual harrassment, blatant cheating (in competition) and lack of any intellectual interests, do.
