Somebody out there will hopefully be able to walk me through this. I have the JREF database in Access 2000. I didn't create it; it was already here when I started at the foundation. One of the fields on both the membership form and the potential members form is for the email address. Scrolling through the database, I would estimate about 60% of the entries contain an email address. Is there a way for me to do a mass emailing using Outlook and importing the email address field from Access to do that? I'm not real good with Access; it's one of the more convoluted programs I've ever worked with, although I've been told once you learn it, it's the best thing since sliced bread. Or is there a way to create contact files in Outlook by importing info from Access?

You can try the following: (This is using Outlook 2000/Access 2000)
From Outlook, Click on File in the menubar. Click Import and Export. Select Import from another program or file. Click Next. Select Microsoft Access and click next. Click browse and select the database to import from. Choose which Option for duplicates you prefer. Click Next. Select Contacts folder and click Next. Check the table you want to import from and click Map Custom Fields. This will let you map the fields from the table to the fields in an Outlook Contact. Follow the instructions for mapping the fields and click OK when finished. Click Finish and it should import the records into the Contacts folder.

Thanks! I'll try that and let you know if it worked.
