Why does a certain type of person feel like they have to insulate themselves from reality this way? Because, really, what this exists to do is give them a place where they can lie to each other without anyone contradicting them, in video format.

Internet communities tend to be based around a shared ideology or interest. There is nothing wrong with that nor is there anything wrong with trying to some extent to compete with youtube through niche marketing.

Oh My god!!!! I can picture it already. Millions of videos talking about the same thing!!!
Talk about brainwashing!!!
Stuff like arguments against evolution going by unchallenged. 38.000 views for something like that is frighting!

This isn't really any different than what already existed. Religious fundies have always sought to insulate themselves from others who disagree with their views.:D

You tell me this kid in this video isn't the cutest thing. Unfortunately, she made a bad choice in parents. Instead of teaching her about the real world her's teach her lies, and fairy tales as truth. What chance does she have?
Anyone still think religion isn't child abuse?

Maybe the KKK can get their own site too? Because, you know, there's nothing wrong with free speech... even if there is something wrong with the speech itself, and what lies behind it. So, from a legal sense, there's nothing wrong with it.

Which is proof that any sufficiently advanced parody is indistinguishable from the real thing.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you "The Most Dangerous Organization in America":

(And, no, I don't agree with them. I'm sure they're neglecting to mention some facts, in that thing.)

Those people are stupid. The ACLU often defends Christians as well. They hate the ACLU because it treats everyone equally, and some Christians believe they deserve special treatment to the exclusion of everyone else.

See, that's the problem with this sort of propaganda and religious folks. Most religious folks like to think of themselves as being honest, and that their faith gives the believers an incentive to be more honest. So, they tend to assume that their fellow believers are as honest as they would like to believe themselves to be. So, when they watch a video full of the sorts of lies and distortions that are the hallmark of politically motivated people claiming to share their faith, they take them at their word.
So, when some Christian liar makes bogus claims(and why are so very many of these "religious" people such outright liars?!?!), the faithful buy into it completely, even though they make fools of themselves by doing so.

Folks, this GodTube thing has been on for a while. Sometime back I saw "Charlie" talking about plate techtonics...retrofiting biblical teachings and stuff. I commented on the presentation. Now I see that that clip is gone along with my comments and has been replaced with a slightly different clip that spouts the same lies, half truths, and misleading statements. Charlie is quite a character, charming in his own way but completely delusional.
In any case, my comments have been eliminated...

The company that makes the Lord of the Rings video games?
Yeah, like Stormfront. From a legal standpoint, there's nothing wrong with their existence. I can't imagine defending or encouraging what they stand for.
