Who saw the movie " The Murder of Princess Diana" on lifetime last night? I know it's based off of a book, but my question is does the author actually believe that is what happened or is it all fictional?

A fair criticism of the french emergency services, is this: why did they take so long in getting her to hospital ?

From what I read, back in '97 the standard procedure was to stablize the patient at the scene, even if that takes awhile, then transport to the hospital. Very different then what we do in the U.S.

Our very own governor thought he was royalty and exempt from seat belts as well

I wish with all my heart that the British would hurry up and get over this bints death!

Then again, there is far too much money to be made in profiting off her death...sorta like how there is money to be made profiting off the death of those who died during the 9/11 attacks! (sorry, had to tie this back somehow :)).

Princess Diana was killed because she knew the truth about WTC 7. Isn't it obvious???

The majority of the population did so some time ago.

although, today Camilla's decision not to go to a 10 year memorial service for St. Dianna did make headline news at the BBC...http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6964763.stm

she's been dead 10 years people! She wasn't even especially nice when she was alive! Get over it!

It's not nice to speak ill of the dead, but Diana's death was a real turning point in my life. Up until then, I was real into conspiracies and it was all predicated on this sinister group of heartless, ultra-rich people who get a sick pleasure out of harming us.

I'll never forget the day they announced on the news she'd been in a car wreck, even though at the time it was merely a broken arm. I turned to my girlfriend and said "Oh my God, they've just killed her."

It was shortly after it hit me if conspiracies are real, at least sometimes they do things that make me smile so they can't be all bad. :D

You know I once went to a safety meeting at my workplace and was told by the instructor that there is no such thing as an accident...

So who killed Diana?

A drunk driver

A drunk driver
Who was force-fed booze by MiBs in the most tactically-perfect and symbollically-laden execution of modern times. She died at the 13th column in the tunnel, she was wearing a dress that was funeral garb in some ancient society the day before, she... she...

Man, sometimes I miss the days when I bellieved in this crap. :o

Princess Diana's death in two words: no seatbelts.

The two words I would have chosen are: drunk driving.

But I agree that the failure of the passengers to utilize seatbelts certainly played a role as well.

Add in the paperatiz chasing them and you don't need a conspriacy. The only interesting thing in the affair was that the driver of the car they hit before the pillar was never found.

And very different to what we do in the UK (unless I'm very much mistaken).

The French procedures, failed to save three lives. So yeah, I think there is a reasonable scope for some criticism of that.

Paparazzo James Andanson is alleged to have been that driver, and two years later, his charred body was found in a burned out car..

Apollo20, you're not dipping your toes into another daft conspiracy theory are you? Why can't you manage to treat all these theories as well as you did the King Paper you just rebutted most marvellously?

I bet they said he died of carbon monoxide poisoning....This will be like the mummy's curse, if anyone involved dies in the next 50 years, it proves that something is going on.

A person I was talking to recently, while we were talking about JFK, mentioned that "almost all the witnesses to the assassination are now dead." to which I replied, "No [rule 10], you think it might have something to do with it being over 40 years ago? Not many witnesses to the Lincoln assassination around either. I don't know the average age of the witnesses, but they have to be getting on in age by now."
