It would be really handy if you could just get WMI to work. But it doesn't, due to MS locking up ports, security and DCOM.
I have found a logon script to open up the ports necessary, but a cross domain connection is a problem because you have to be authorised to that domain to read the stuff. Is it possible to update that, and DCOM if necessary, with a logon script?
