Corel fear of superstitious software purchasers?

Having purchase Corel Office X3 last week, I feel something of a dunce for just noticing that their sequence of releases goes 8,9,10,11,12,X3. Pity they appear to be afraid they'll lose sales by trying to market a release labeled 13.

After all the problems I run into with Paint Shop Pro XI, superstition is the least of their problems.
