"Twoofer" would be about the fifth most reprehensible thing that rule10 is.

Actually just being Truther would be a step up for Galloway.
I love the way this dedicated campaigner for human rights ignores Gays because supporting their rights might upset his Islamic Militant supporters in the UK.
I was on vacation in London when he made one of his more outrageous statements in the wake of the London Subway Attacks, and the general consensus in the pubs I visited is the guy is a major league Embarassment to The UK in general and the House Of Commons in particular.

Who doesn't?

He 100% rejects 9/11 conspiracy theories.

I agree he certainly isn't anywhere near perfect, but at least he is a dissenting voice in terms of the West's middle-east policy.

Truther in the closet?

I really, really doubt it. He is a nutjob far left extremist and really, really, really hates America and Israel and even resorts to lies to further his political agenda, but a truther? I don't think so.

He has his own radio show on AM here in Europe, and I've listened to it a couple of times (the bigger stations reach most of Europe at night.) One time he dedicated the whole two hours to 9/11 conspiracy theories and basically spent it calling whoever called up a moron.

Galloway is way on the opposite side of the truthers, to the extent where I think he actually feels that the attacks were justified and that America deserved it for everything they (and Israel) have done to the muslims over the years.

Goerge Galloway... the british member of parliament who called for the assassination of the Prime Minister (http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/politics/article601356.ece) a truther?

The only things that would be more crazy, he's already said.

I doubt Galloway is a truther. His position is that US foreign policy in the Middle East has been horrendous. He knows that thermite/demolitions/missiles would only distract from that.

Still, I really want to see the Big Brother Britian episodes he was on. From what I've read they were legendary.

'And Saddam said, stood up'

This man is no dissenting voice. He is just a moron. Someone who simply exploits the Muslim vote in racially diverse areas because he thinks they all hate British foriegn policy.

Or how about having Islamists (One ex-radical confirmed this) on his 'Respect Party'?

'One million Muslims know who I am'. Yes George, and they all think you are a twat.

He is however one of several people who has done much to make Anti-Semitism almost Politically Correct:mad:

And like Peter Singer (the man who wrote [url=http://tinyurl.com/yomoep]Animal Liberation (http://www.westminstervillage.co.uk/images/gallowaythecat.jpg)) he is someone who does not think about the full consequences of what they say/do/write...

No more and no less "illegal" than the United States or Great Britain.

He hijacked anti war protests for his own political career, was rightfully thrown out of the labour party, not because he opposed the war, but made comments urging soldiers to mutiny, and supported 'insurgents' in Iraq.

He was recently suspended from Parliament, due to his atrocious mismanagement of a charity he set up (the Mariam appeal). When he was asked about this on TV, he simply whined called the house of commons a den of iniquity, and tried to distract people by going on about the cash for honours scandal.

Galloway has also been slammed by gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, over the way 'Respect' the unity coalition, has been sponsored by conservative Islamic groups some of whom express extremely homophobic views.

He openly supported Hezbollah rocket attacks on Israeli towns which killed a number of civillians and caused the IDF to retalliate. He called Hezbollah freedom fighters and not terrorists. Hezbollah had positioned their rocket artillery in civillian neighbourhoods, near peoples homes, so that if the weapons were attacked, civillians were caught in the firing line.

Amnesty International condemned Hezbollah and the IDF equally for the civillian deaths in last year's conflict. Instead Galloway praises the people who started it.

He's not what I'd call a nice fella... And that's putting it extremely mildly.

Galloway is a very intelligent man yet he is a complete idiot and has a huge ego

He could have done so much for my country with his intelligence but he has chosen to throw it all away by supporting causes that are just plain wrong

He is a media whore of the highest order but did in fact make complete fools of the americans when pulled up in front of them for the Iraqi Oil Vouchers allegations

The day that the Iraqi Oil allegations made the MSM in the UK, I was in Portugal with a few mates. On the BBC news service he was interviewed at his home in Portugal. As we went to the airport I commented that it would be funny if we met him at the airport.

Funnily enough we bumped into him in the departures. My friend went up and introduced himself and said that we were all behind him in this troubling time. Galloway thanked us and launched into a smarm offensive. My friend then backed that up by saying that all of us Oil Industry workers should stick together

Galloway was not amused and stormed off

Well I can't agree with a lot of the posts here. Criticising Israel's aggression does not make one anti-semitic - though I think he too often polarises that debate, I don't think he's an anti-semite, certainly nothing he has said indicates that. He was on Big Brother in the UK yes, and did silly things that human beings sometimes do.

I think that he has also been proven depressingly accurate in terms of the West's recent aggression in the region. I find him provocative and unique in Western politics - whether he is right or not I think that is a useful influence.

I have actually seen him insult a reporter interviewing him because she was an Israeli

Most of what he says is not said out of belief but out of what it will do to his ego and profile

He is a bully who will shout people down when he is wrong and he is also a hypocrite and a liar, just watching the BB program exposed this

After supporting Saddam Hussein he was asked about the gassing of Kurds to which he replied that it was him who exposed it and first mentioned it. He did not condemn Saddam for the gassing and did not explain why he continued to support Saddam after these outrages

He is far too clever to be openly anti semetic but his act insinuates he might be
