So, next Saturday (sept.8) Loose Change FC will have world premiere at the "Protest Festival (http://www.protest.no/articlelist.aspx?m=51)" in Kristiansand, Norway.
First they start off with a lecture by David Ray Griffin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Ray_Griffin), followed by Ole Tunander and Emil Andre Røyrvik, both Norwegians who are known to be not exactly supporters of "the official story".
From the (short) English section:
David Ray Griffin (USA)
David Griffin is a retired professor of philosophy of religion and theology who has written four controversial books about what really happened on 9/11 in the USA.
LECTURE with questions from the audience:
Prof. Ole Tunander, Peace Research Institute Oslo
Emil Andre Røyrvik, research fellow NTNU
Professor Ola Tunander’s publications include The Secret War Against Sweden – US and British Submarine Deception in the 1980s (2004) and an article about what really happened on 9/11 in the anthology 9/11 and American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out (2006).
Research fellow Emil André Røyrvik hit the headlines in 2006 when he claimed that 9/11 was an inside job.
I hang my head in shame...
Btw, what kind of debate features only 3 guys who all believe the same? Gravy, can I pay you to fly to Norway?

That's funny, all on its own. Hell, the Loose With the Truth crew couldn't even manage to "screen" their little video in the U.S. and they can't even legitimately call it a "screening" of LCFC in Norway since they've admitted that their little video is not even complete yet. Too cute. No, really. :)

Maybe they wanted the biggest celebration to be held someplace where there were not hundreds of big, healthy young men who knew what really happened lurking about, waiting to meet Dylan and express, non-verbally, what they thought of him.

Considering the latest is that Loose Change will be released on the internet on 11-11-07 according to a recent Bermas interview, it's hard to see the point of preventing somebody at the Norway screening from taping it.
Maybe they're doing this show so that Christopher Bollyn (http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?read=91920) can attend?
I intend to seek asylum in Norway or Switzerland. I can read the writing on the wall.

That was a funny one. A security guard preventing illegal filming of the movie, which is only 90% ready and will be released on the internet anyway.
Another noteworthy mention in that article. Kim Bredesen compared Final Cut to the likes of Matrix and V for Vendetta. Well, true, they are fiction as well.

This premiere is going to be seen by only a handful of people.
It is shown 2 times in Fønix Kino Kristiansand, once on 8th and once on 9th of September. Both times it is shown in Sal 2 (Theater 2) which has 104 seats. So it will have a maximum audience of 208 people, at most.

Given that jsiv has Svalbard as part of his custom title, I'd guess that he can easily point to Norway on a map. In fact, if I had to, I'd guess he was Norwegian, or at least from Scandinavia.
I wouldn't say that Norway is obscure it does have a comparatively low population, and is a bit off the beaten track for most people.

Well, without getting into the obscure/non-obscure debate, let's face it...having LooseWithTheTruth v. 4.0 lead off anywhere other than the U.S. of A. is a colossal failure insofar as its stated goals are concerned. The fact that the LooseWithTheTruth gang has consistently lied about having their little video accepted at various film festivals over the past couple of years is even worse. The fact that the LooseWithTheTruth gang can't even manage to finish their little video after several years, well, that speaks volumes.
My condolences to the 20 or so people who might see the latest version of twooferism nonsense in Norway.

http://forums.randi.org/imagehosting/1363946dfa4bb2a4df.jpg
But wait, that is in Norway. Are they going to overthrow the King of Norway? They can't do that! They were supposed to hate Bush. Maybe someone will leak a copy of this event to the internet, so the revolution can begin in US. But wait, there are security guards preventing exactly that from happening. It has to begin in Norway then. But no, the revolution can't begin in Norway, not the King of Norway, no!

So, next Saturday (sept.8) Loose Change FC will have world premiere at the "Protest Festival (http://www.protest.no/articlelist.aspx?m=51)" in Kristiansand, Norway.
No offense to Kristiansand, but...it's hardly Cannes, Berlin, Vienna, Sundance, or any of the major film festivals, is it?
Think about it: These guys have The Ultimate Evidence of an Inside Job (capitals required), and they can't even launch it at some big festival? In this age of Documentary Desire?
Btw, what kind of debate features only 3 guys who all believe the same? Gravy, can I pay you to fly to Norway?
That, in itself, is a major point of criticism. They are supposed to support ideas to freely float around, and they don't even have the opposite view?
The general public may not understand the trickery of the LooseChangers, but they do understand the need to hear the opposite view.
LC:FC in Norway on the 8th is a "premiere". Two days later in New York it is a "test screening". Is it just me, or does Dylan seem to have things mixed up here? Seems any test screening should come before any premiere. I'm so confuzzed.
One of the really great things about living in New York, is that you get to go to the new movies, before they "premiere". We went two, sometimes three times a week, but never to see movies that had actually opened. The movie companies were so eager to get people to the pre-premieres (sometimes, even pre-pre-premieres), that they would just hand out free tickets to anyone who wanted them.
The benefits of being connected.... ;)
Heh, the funny thing is that they are very proud to get the film to the festival because it "will attract young people". So, fame before facts then?
Young impressionable minds.
Yeah no doubt, if there's one thing they hate it's a dissenting voice spoiling the festival of woo.
It doesn't have to be a dissenting voice. Just someone recording what happens.

A little info on the populatity of this event thus far.
The last paragraph of this article (http://www.fvn.no/kulturpuls/film/article504926.ece) states, that the Final Cut will be show in Theater 2 (104 seats), unless there is demand for more capacity, in which case it is possible it could be moved to the bigger Theater 1 (655 seats, Capacities here (http://www.filmweb.no/kristiansandkino/article53174.ece)). That article was written on August 17, 2007.
Well, the situation today, September 6, 2007 is as follows:
Sept 8 (http://www.filmweb.no/kristiansandkino/program/?dato=08-09-2007&x=18&y=18): Still located at Theater 2 (Fønix 2)
Sept 9 (http://www.filmweb.no/kristiansandkino/program/?dato=09-09-2007&x=15&y=15): Still located at Theater 2 (Fønix 2)
I guess there has not been enough demand to move it to the theater with 655 seats. 104 have been enough as it is.
ETA: The ticket price is NOK 95,00 which is about the equivalent of EUR 12,00 or USD 16,00

Hah! According to the Protest Festival the film will contain much more:
In the new version there has been added new and more advanced computer simulations of the planes which were hijacked on 9/11, and new sequences and fresh interviews with different professionals giving their statements regarding the terrorist attacks.
There's also an article on NRK.no (http://nrk.no/nyheter/distrikt/sorlandet/1.3226957) about the "sensation".
Kristiansand will play the host to the latest major motion picture about 9/11

The blogger complained that TV 2 (a major Norwegian television network) left after 15 minutes, even though the conference lasted for two hours. No wonder.:D
This is yet another case of Norwegian far left wingers throwing all reason and critical judgement over board regarding USA. How embarrassing.
Heh, that was amusing :)
Strangely enough, the "Truth Movement" in the US consists of young men, but the "911 Press Conference Group" in Norway is a 75 year old retired journalist, and 3 middle-aged women?

"It played at sold-out theaters in Norway!"

Also, what sold out wasn't the film on its own - it was also a lecture by David Ray Griffin and others.
So we can't be certain how many people would have bought tickets if it was just for the film.

To update, with less than 24 hours to go till the first screening, the total of tickes sold is 127 out of a possible 208. (104 for screening plus lecture, 23 for screening only). I have a mental image of that second showing, and it's kind of pathetic.

So what's the cost of a ticket? How much is DRG making in pursuit of the truth?

Ersu over at LCF attended the screening and posted a quick review. It gives you the basic outline of how the movie will look.
Here it is:
The first chapter about the hijackers and the conlusion was not in the test screening we wached. The man that was in WTC7 and heard explosions was neither in the movie.
* Prologue
+Very good introduction to the movie B)
+ Perfect
+ Better than even I could imagine.
- nothing
Chapter 2: The Able Danger Program
+ God iformation and wery important too.
- It shows only clips from tv stations, nothing new info
Chapter 3: the flights and NORAD tapes:
This is really the climax of the movie. Fantastic animations that shows all the planes. Very entertaining. Also shows many lies in the 9/11 commission. Perfect.
+ If the whole documentary was like this, it would be the best documentary in the world.
- nothing
Chapter 4: Pentagon
Shows both version and wich problems both they have to fit the facts.
+ Interviews people that actually saw the plane
+ Great animation + great interview with Ray McGovern (funny)
- Does not take up the research pilotes for 9/11 trut have done, and insted focuses that no-pane hit the building
- to long, many of the interviews takes to much time
- not as god edited as the last chapter.
Chapter 5: WTC
This is by far, the worst chapter in the movie.
+ Takes up the problem that the goverment lied about that the air was safe to breathe.
+ The video with a NIST guy cought in a lie. Nice!
+ The ending was good. Go to jail Christine Todd Whitman
- This chapter is even easier to debunk than the 2 edition
- Almost as washing 2 edition all over again
- Not as good editing, and far far far to long!!!!!!
- The first minutes in this chapter is just a waste of time. People talk and talk with no point at all. Discussing wich type of plane they saw over radio. People in the movie theatre bagan to yawn, bacause nobody understood anything.
- The movie shows to many people that are talking about explosions in the building. Almost everyone of them was in the 2nd dition, but where is William Rodriguez? My advice: Take only the 3-4 most important vitness and focus on them. Put the rest of the accounts in the extra matherial section.
- Many of the interviews were to long. For example, Steven Jones had to long intruduction and as he mentiod that there were 11 signs of controll demoliton the movie got boring. The movie focused far to much on them, and they could easily be debunkt.. My advice: Dont mention that there are so, so many signs of controll demolition. Just take the most important points and use some time on them. Use just enough time on them, so that a regular person can question the collaps. Put the rest in the extra stuff when the dvd comes out.
- Dont waste time on discussion question that easily can be debunkt.
- It takes time before the movie comes to a point in this chapter.
I would say: Focus less on WTC and more on WTC7. Use your time and cut this chapter to at least its half. Please, edit this capter as good as you did with the first. Please, please.
Chapter 6: Flight 93
Many good points, but far from perfect.
+ Great animation at the end.
+ Good points
- Some of the videos in this chapter have bin debukt quite good, and at I dont see a reason to put it there one more time.
- Not as god as the first chapters.
- Cut some of the videos from the tv stations and forcus more on really good points you had in the movie.
Chapter 7: WTC7
+ Good animation
+ God editing
- Sad that the guy that was in WTC7 and felt explosions, had gotten many threats so you could not include him in the movie.
Conclusion:
I had very high expectations for this movie. In the first 0-1 hour, the movie exceed my expectations. But then it became to similar to 2ed and had not the same standards as the previes chapters. But it`s still more powerfull documentary than the previews editions. :D
Loose Change: Final Cut can be one of the best documentary ever if they fix it`s problems. Don`t put in more info in the film, but cut the chapter about WTC + flight 93 and re-edit it. I want to show Final Cut in my school, but first the movie needs to be entertaining enough so the people wants to se the whole 2+ hours and not the only first hour.
Tanks for the much hard work you have put in this movie. :D

I think the NWO changed the reels before screening. This cannot be the first ultimate preview-version of FC. Why should Dylan leave out all of his smoking-gun-stuff?
- no ISI/Pakistan-Connection in it?
- what about the floorplans? Remember what a show it was when (and how) Dylan presented it?
- the amazing picture of the vent on the roof just said it all about the movement. Why leave it out?
No way Dylan would keep these efforts of his masterfull research out of the movie. Why would he hold back his critical-hit-arguments? What would be the use just present old stuff with some new animations?
I know it´s still too early to comment, but not too early for a CT:

He has indeed, but he's never shown a proper grasp of the film process or its terminology. Test screenings are not publicised, advertised, and marketed directly at the most rabid fanboys. They are not shown at 'major' events on significant dates. There is no fanfare or boasts about ticket sales. In fact, there are no ticket sales at all.

I'm not sure what you're trying to debate with me. This year's GZ event was supposed to be huge. 5,000-10,000 people per day, millions taken in ticket sales. Photos so far barely show a dozen. That pops their bubble, not mine.
Few isn't a major event. And I am not debating but is it incorrect of me to disagree with you?

Norway has a population of about 4.5 million. Your guess is as good as mine about how many truthers. the answer to that question is that probably a large percentage of a miniscule movement showed up.

Based on the review on LCF, this movie doesn't offer much new and has already been debunked. 11 signs of CD, Pentagon stuff, flight 93, WTC7, Steven Jones, Gordon Ross, old TV clips.
Only new material seems to be new animations and some new NORAD tapes analysis, maybe something more on Able Danger.

And that is the rub of it. Dylan has realized that the MIHOP is a dead duck, and that the only way to hang on to any sense of longevity, and any hopes of attracting a larger audience, is the path of "press for truth". He just like to flirt a little more with the MIHOP arguements than the Jersey Girls do.

So ok. They have Steven Jones talking about 11 signs of controlled demolition, but the movie does not take a stand. They have people talking about explosions on the towers, but the movie does not take a stand nor explain these explosions.
It sounds like a MIHOP movie in disguise then, they are saying people say this, but they don't take a stand themselves. Because I really doubt they are offering a counter argument to Steven Jones and his 11 sign hypothesis.

There are two entirely different statements about LC:FC made by someone who has seen the movie. So the info you have is conflicting and a conclusion can't be based off that. I agree with Ref.
For LF:FC to include the controlled demolition hypothesis is to say the government actively had a hand in killing americans.
The only other way you can cut it would if they took the bystanding position:
"Some people even believe that there is evidence that the WTCs were demolished with pre-planted explosives."
Moreover, if Ersu's review is indeed accurate and that LTW are of the conviction that no plane hit the pentagon, then it cannot be anything but a MIHOP documentary. To say Flight 77 did not strike the building is not to say they let attacks happen on purpose, it is to openly claim the attacks were staged.

This test screening looks every bit like it was supposed to be a premiere but the film wasn't finished in time.
A test screening is never of a film with bits missing. It's a finished version of a film that producers think they might have to go back to and change. And, as you said, the screenings are free and not part of the publicity drive for the film.
Dylan hasn't even got to the point of having a film to test. So, this isn;t a test screening, if he was honest he would have announced it as the screening of a work in progress or (better still) and unfinished version.
Enigma is essentially correct, though, Dylan has not been claiming that this is the final version of the film, for some time now. If other organisations want to claim that it is, it isn't really Dylan's fault - although he's in deirect contact with them, so you'd think he'd correct their misinterpretations.

I suspect the "test screenings" are a means to determine what needs to come out or go into the final version. He has his own private test audience, so why not make use of it...sound reasoning AFAIC.
Be nice to get a copy of the test version, then compare it to the final cut to see what differences there are.

That seems to be Dylan's strongest leg, yet there is no mention of it in the review.
Unless of course the reviewer:
a) Forgot about that section (which would suggest it only has a very minor role in the piece)
or
b) Did not see that section because it's addressed in the 1st or final chapter, which were not screened.

A couple of interesting posts on the Loose With the Truth forum tonight about LCFC The Final Insult.
A couple of posters say that Jason told them that LC:FC The Final Insult should be released on DVD around November 11.
Jason told me today that November 11th around that it should be on DVD
Yeah that's what he told me as well.
It seems to me that, if true, that would negate a theatrical release. Of course, the magic words are "if true" since one can never take anything that Jason Bermas says (or that the rest of the twoofers say, for that matter) at face value.
That makes even more unusual another exchange there where Rev91 asks,
When was this? What about theaters?
(As if the word "today" didn't already answer the first question ~ lol)
The response to the second question, though, was this:

Agreed. And to use the (somewhat crude) vernacular, I think the LC crapumentary video has shot its wad, and now that the 6th anniversary draws to a close without the completion of "Version 4.0: The Final Insult", it will never will never gain anywhere near the momentum that the early versions had (which they only had in the absence of debunking anyway).
