Makes you wonder just how the TSA screens the screeners. From here: (http://abclocal.go.com/wls/news/090103_ns_bluelinestab.html)
Two men and one woman were involved officials say a T.S.A. Screener stabbed another man three times in the abdomen with a butcher knife. One officer on the scene said the victim's wounds were severe.
So do you all feel safer now that the feds are in charge of airport security? Let's hope they pick 'em better than the Post Office does.

Reminds me of an incident I witnessed at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. My wife and I were walking toward a lesser used gate at the terminal with only one metal detector. It was late in the evening and there were very few other passengers around. Imagine our surprise though when we saw the gate unmanned and two "security" personnel rolling around on the ground in a knock-down drag-out fight.

This shortly before 9/11. I'm glad things are better now ...
