View Full Version : Another "End of Time" prophecy

In my Sunday paper, there was an advertisement from the "ministry Of Isaac" predicting the end of time in 2017. Unfortunately, there is no web link and the paper's website doesn't carry the ad.
Brieflly, the "Time of Wrath" is 1999 - 2006. At that point, they expec the "1st Rapture" and the "Annointed one comes = Two Prophets". Around 2010, the Antichrist rises and destroys the temple. In 2013 the Antichirst is killed. In 2017, the beginningo of temple restoration starts, but is cut short by "Final Jusgement"
All of this is accompanied by strange math equations, which apparently use the constant, 1 week = seven years.
I googled for Ministry of Isaac, but didn't find much there was this very scary website (http://www.battleaxe.org/warfare.html) which apparently advocates violence against the enemies of Christ.
Has anyone else heard of this? Do we need to alert the authorities?

Just one of many. Ho-hum.
My favorite rapure model:
Bug eyed monsters dressed as angels beam up the true believers, and march the obedient believers right into the abattoir like proper sheep.
If we're going to posit angels and gods and devils, we may as well throw in some people-eating alien BEMs for color.

I visited the website, 2 words...
Holy S**t!
The website is a few years old (it says copyright 2000, 2001 in the footer), for some reason I always expected some cultist psychotic churchy group to update periodically... I guess the comet already shot by and everyone's dead...
This quite an interesting disclaimer on the front page:
The research done by the Battle Axe Brigade Teams is intended solely for use in intercessory prayer. Our battles are fought against spiritual enemies in the Name of Jesus Christ. We consider ourselves the enemy of no person or group. We do not engage in, nor endorse violence against any person or group, and do not knowingly assist anyone who would. Further, the purpose of the Battle Axe Brigade is not to picket, harass, or defame any person or group, but to pray God's grace, mercy and life be manifested in all people.

Sigh, another group of deluded individuals who've "cracked the code" and setting dates.
At least Jack van Impe, etc. are setting their dates far enough ahead that they'll probably be dead or senile before it comes and goes without a hiccup.

Now if some genius can use some arbitrary way to say the date is four years off, and they actually meant 2014, they can work in that snifty asteroid!

I get the feeling this will be a very popular asteroid.

Althought the copyright is for 2001 it says:

They can't be that bright, they're the "Battle Axe Brigade", but all their pictures are of morning stars. Maybe they haven't played enough D&D to know the difference.

Or watched Conquest. But I'm pretty sure that History channel what with that vile, dirty XY Factor show isn't high on their viewing list.

So the moral of the story is that all religious folk should carry a +3 Battle Axe of Healing.
Or not.

Ignore them. Whiny losers.
You know, if they were worth listening to, they'd be demonstrating real Christ-like love, rather than spewing this bilge.
I'm with you, Yahweh. And yes, perhaps the authorities should be informed. Someone might decide that intercessory prayer could use a boost from a Glock.
